It wouldn't have counted though if it went in.

Why did Hill lose it? Don’t think he was touched at the end.
Looks like he was maybe bumped a few seconds earlier by Bennett? Didn’t get a good look. Then he saw Montour run Mcnabb from behind and he lost it. Mcnabb is dirty so I don’t feel too bad for him.

Completely. He can barely lift his upper body when he has the puck. That's the type of injury that would probably be a 2 week 6 week absence if not for it being the Stanley Cup Finals.

Helluva game and helluva series. I still think the Panthers are in this but it will be really hard to win in Vegas to stave off elimination. However, if they do that, I think the Panthers come all the way back to win the series.

Either way, I'm proud of the team and how they didn't give up tonight. Could have easily let it go the way it did in game 2, but they showed their resolve and heart. That's all I ask at this point.
I can't see it with Tkachuk injured as badly as he is. I wish, but three straight is a tall order at this point.

Just checking the NHL rulebook it's pretty vague specifically regarding players leaving the penalty box at the end of a game and getting into an altercation. At the same time it states pretty plainly players can leave neither the player's bench nor penalty bench and get into a fight.

It's going to be a "whatever we interpret it today" type of call, which I would guess is no suspension. They'll have to brush that one up in the offseason.

Montour started it all by trying to hit the Vegas player onto Hill way after the whistle.

I laugh when people complain about the refs when really they are just an undisciplined and borderline dirty team.

I’d say Montour started it when he ran Mcnabb. That started the melee. But it was bound to happen either way given all the battling around the net.

If it's against the Oilers, he'll be suspended, for sure. Any other team, it'll be vague.

They are coached by Maurice, what do you expect?

Tkachuk just admitted to being a just cheerleader on the bench.

even if there was time he didn't score... Hill or someone in front blocked it.

Chucky was a clown show at the end there.

I hope they get pumped for 8 goals next game and he is -7

Loved the quote earlier in these playoffs that was so absolute:

“No team from the West can possibly beat any of the playoff teams in the East…”

It’s always about matchups and despite the fact that Bob has kept them close in a couple of finals games, this team is outmatched by the depth of Vegas.

It’s not over, but some of the crazier predictions like Chucky winning the Conn Smythe and Florida in 5 look like beauties now, eh?

Even with Bobrovski playing out his goddamned mind Vegas is just too deep and too composed.

Florida is essentially playing the 'Edmonton Model' which is to run and gun it and hope their goalie keeps them in it, and Bob's doing that for the most part and it still isnt working.

Let's look at how many goals they score:

Toronto

4, 3, 3 (OT), 1, 3 (OT). Half the time the Leafs had their third-string goalie in net.

Carolina

3 (4OT), 2 (OT), 1, 4

Las Vegas

2, 2, 3 (OT), 2. Against their, what, fourth-string goalie?

Bobrovsky needs to stand on his head or else they'll lose.
