Why waste your time with this? Xbox and Microsoft have announced they are working with TV manufacturers to bring game pass cloud streaming to TV's and with a dongle. Just wait for the app or buy the dongle. Then you don't have to deal with waiting/bricking your console with Homebrew.
... because it's fun and a neat way to use the hardware how you want?
The problem is not accessing Xbox titles, I already have two Xbox One X consoles and an Xbox Series X arriving tomorrow morning. It's that there's a minimal library I'm interested in on PS5, so if I could sell an Xbox One X and replace it with a PS5 that also worked for Xbox gaming, that'd be kind of a neat workaround.

Ahh ok, or you could get a Series S and put it in Dev mode and have the greatest emulation machine available haha.

I have an OG Xbox and Xbox 360 both modded for emulators, but yes, I too watch Modern Vintage Gamer. And it would be pretty bad-ass to use a Series S for that.

Got a few games loaded up on the Series X tonight and tried out The Division 2… holy sh-t. It used to take 30-45 seconds to fast travel and now it takes about 5.
Managed to beat a few more levels on Tony Hawk 1+2 thanks to the buttery smooth frame rate too. Pretty happy with the upgrade.

Since I’m not a big online gamer except a few PC titles, the one thing that would make me consider buying a PS5 is if a jailbreak came out for it to run homebrew.
Why? If you can run homebrew, you could port a web browser like Chromium to the PS5 running in game mode (I’m assuming, like Xbox, Sony has different memory and resource limits for apps vs. games). Then you sign up for Game Pass Ultimate and you get the benefit of PS5 exclusives and Xbox through Xbox Cloud Gaming in a single console.
Cloud gaming quality isn't even close to having a local console
