Hopefully the Jays are up a few runs before Dickey even hits the mound.

Yeah I'm nervous about Dickey too. Gibby is rolling the dice here and it could really come back to burn him. Price may be on short rest but he had a gazillion days rest prior to game 1 so it's like having a pitcher on normal rest. If I'm the manager I start Price today.

Dickey will most likely be on a very short leash. Gibbons will yank him quickly if he gets into any trouble.

I don't think there's much rolling of the dice here though. He either goes with a rested, hot Dickey or you go to Price on short rest. Either way it's a gamble but I like giving Dickey a shot with pen help ready the second he gets into a jam. He's either going to kill it or get lit, I think we'll know early how this one is going to go for RA.

Price is the much smaller risk IMO.

Yeah I am definitely in the camp that wants to see Price starting today. I have zero confidence in Dickey.

Dickey has been very good since the All Star break.
Beltre and out again and in again, simply for his bat is desperate. Throw pitches away so he will have to stretch to reach them. Drop some bunts down the 3rd base line and see how willing and able he his to chase them down.
Pressure is all on Rangers today.

Doesn't Beltre have a broken index finger on his catching hand too?
Seems like a pretty risky move.

Great bunt. Revere could've advanced with his speed to second. Lets see how this works.
