I'm of the opinion Klomp is gone regardless. Would love for him to stay obviously, but he's made lots of noise over the last couple years about leveraging this CPL experience to get to MLS.

Klomp should be MVP.

I am also in the Klomp is gone camp. He’s got nothing left to prove at this level and I think he could walk in and start on a mid-table MLS side, let alone any options he’ll have with his European passport. The only knock against him is his mid to long range passing can be wayward at times but he has become such an anchor and a leader at the back that he’d be an asset for teams across the world

Oh for sure Klomp is gone. When he signed he was public about his desires to play in MLS. Think he's achieved all he can in CPL.

Cavalry have a club option for 2024 so I wonder if they exercise that option and then shop him for a transfer.

His contract appears to be done after this season, so it will suck to see him leave and not get a transfer fee. So that sucks for the Cavs. But he's earned everything coming to him in his next contract, and I wouldn't be surprised to also see him in the MLS next year.

I think Klomp should and will win the award but I think Nimick is going to garner some votes. His 6 goals (4 or which were pens, though) will turn some heads.

Final attendance for 2023. League attendance is up 21% over 2022 with Ottawa, Cavalry and Forge seeing big growth and Vancouver significantly outdrawing Edmonton. Cavalry's youth club program was the real driver behind their growth, although we saw a lot of new faces in the supporters end this year, some of whom we see regularly now.

Hoping all clubs see growth in 2024. Valour may be in tough. York will always be in tough. Hopefully Vancouver can market well in the offseason now that they have an actual stadium with seats to sell.
