The Jaguars are the third best team in the AFC now, the Steelers have really taken a step back these last two weeks. Hopefully the Colts can beat the crap out of the Jags like they do almost every year this week.

Since 2003 are 6-3 against Jacksonville. Their largest margain of victory was this year (22 points), but before this year, their 5 wins ranged between 7-10 points. Conversely last year (week 14) Jacksonville beat Indy 44-17.
With the injuries the Colts are facing and the track record between these two teams, I think it will be close. And I dont see how the Colts usually "beat the crap out of" the Jags every year.
Jacksonville and Tennessee are thorns in Indy's side.

What I posted there was a quote google Wes Welker and Qualify offer, please before you post next time.

Apparently you aren't willing to read:
Quote:
The Patriots were prepared to sign Welker to an offer sheet that included a "poison pill" that would make it difficult for the Dolphins to match. Yet in hopes of avoiding the bad blood that sometimes can accompany offer sheets - the Seahawks and Vikings recently engaged in a nasty back and forth with offensive lineman Steve Hutchinson and receiver Nate Burleson exchanging teams via offer sheets - the Patriots instead called the Dolphins and proposed a trade.
|
And from your own quote, "plan to sign" is not the same thing as "signed". Please learn the difference before you post next time.

That was just a quote to prove a point. They gave the dolphis the "poison pill" trade him two us and you will get an extra pick, don't and we will sign him to an offer sheet. The dolphins at that time did what was best. They drafted there starting center with the second pick and he has been awesome. The OLine is the only bright spot on this team.

I think Jeff Fisher is one of the best head coach's in the league but the Titans have been anything but a thorn in the side of the Colts. I think the Colts are somewhere near 7-1 in the last 3 or 4 years.
Jacksonville's big win over the Colts last year was there superbowl. It gave the Colts a wakeup call and led them to the superbowl, while the Jags once again did nothing. I'm probablly going a little to far by saying the Colts kick there ass every year, but the Jags just bring it on themselves with how much trash talking the team seems to do leading up to every Colts game. I really don't wanna hear a team talking trash from a team that can't make it to the second round or win there division.

Miami is favoured this week. There are some tough games to pick.

And Ricky is done....

LOL from +1 to 1.5...its like a hockey game. When I first read it I thought I was reading it wrong and then remember who the two teams were.
Also too bad about Ricky, he is my homeboy!

So.....
Packers at Cowboys, who wins?
I like Dallas to win, but I will be rooting for Green Bay.
Neither will affect my Saints playoff chances, that comes Sunday afternoon.
Though, I would rather see New Orleans play at Dallas if they make the playoffs. The Saints own the Cowboys in recent years.

I picked the Cowboys to win. But I will be rooting for the Packers. Would be nice to see Farve ride off with another Super Bowl Ring.

Ah Page 2. Always a fun read.
Romo vs. Favre
Quote:
Yes, the media are feeding you lines in their attempt to prove that the hair-gel generation's Hollywood-hopping signal-caller is really cut from the same musty mold as the grizzled, Wrangler-wearing legend of Lambeau Field.
Lies. All lies.
But before you get discouraged, it's pretty clear stories suggest a strangely similar Romo-Favre state of affairs.
But you don't have to take my word for it …

Romo grew up a huge Packers fan and a Brett Farve fan. Did anyone see his Farve impersonation last year? It was dead on and very funny.

I read in the paper today that he was not a Packer fan - he was more a basketball fan, and Elway was his favorite QB.

Everywhere you look on the internet it states that as a kid growing up in Wisconsin that Romo was a Packers fan.

A heavy influence on his playing style was Brett Favre. Romo grew up a Packers fan, and during his High School years, Brett was leading Green Bay to a pair of Super Bowl appearances.

Honestly, I'm thinkin the Pack might take this one. For me it all depends if Charles Woodson is out there or not. Last I heard he was questionable, but I havent checked it since probably Sunday.

Bingo!! Woodson is a game time decision along with KGB.
If Woodson isn't in I dont think the Pack can stay ahead or even.. And to a lesser extenet Kameer Gbaja Biamila (Excuse the spelling) who has been solid all year. Those two dont play the 'Boys O should roll.
That being said, I haven't seen Favre playing with this much confidence and enthusiasm since 96-97. The Pack should put up points against a suspect Cowboy secondary, but not enough to win.
The spread is 7. I say take the points but the Cowboys win by 3.

I would also reccommend going over the total points too. I think both offences will move the ball. If Woodson is in than the Packers might stand a chance of somewhat containing Dallas down the field passing game. I think this one will be a gooder, and I'll be watching with interest.
