Kyle Mooney is the worst cast member of all time.

Che said something like "do you test this material out before using it on national tv?" I have the same question for pretty much all his segments/videos/characters. Someone approved this crap?

That was a weak episode overall. Crowe wasn't given much to do. He only appeared in 5 of 11 segments, and mostly he played a creepy perverted old guy.

Even Update had an off night. The other performers seem to like the Bruce Chandling character, but he seems to be mostly an inside joke enjoyed by other comedians.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus

I liked the opening, but they should have brought in more New York characters to ask questions.

Cinema Classics was the best sketch with Julia looking for her lines around the set. It reminded me of something Phil Hartman and Jan Hooks might do.

Pete was funny as the pool boy.

Cecily's one-dimensional female character has a real bite. Sneezing into a Kleenex full of semen (“but I don’t notice”).

Animal Annie - “When I was born I was the size of an Easter ham and then my dad left.”
“Iguanas have two penises, but I wouldn’t know what to do with either one of them, RIGHT, DANIEL?”

Shaq - “I’ve got a joke. A horse walks into a bar.”

That's a great observation! I can totally imagine them doing it.

I also thought that "Who works here?" episode was good and funny. Could substitute CVS for Canadian Tire.

Very true, Phil Hartman would have been great in that sketch.

"Should I show side boob now?"

That one dimensional female character had me rolling and wincing in even amounts.

It was a great tribute show but I really wish they didn't go to commercial after every performance or bit. I almost turned it off at one point because I was getting tired of the commercials. The clip of the after party was awesome.

I PVR'd it. Approx. 30 minutes total of the clips, 1hr total of commercials. Some kinda tribute...

Overall, weird decision to do it this way, I think. They didn't do anything like it for Robin Williams, who had a lot more to do with American comedy than Prince.

On another grumbling note, if according to Fallon, that after-party was "Oscar-Grammy-Globe -and everything-else-combined and the best party ever", why would they not have taped, post-edited and broadcasted the whole thing for the public? Why tease?

I'm assuming they were even hesitant about posting what they did, Celebs in these types of parties expect privacy so they can let loose and not worry about it ending up in the tabloids the next day. I have no doubt they talked to Fallon and Rudolph to get their OK before posting that video lol.

Yeah, the celebs at these parties obviously respect the privacy of all the attendees. Considering that pretty much everyone there has smartphones and so many people are taking videos and pictures all the time it is pretty amazing that videos don't get leaked from these events.

Prince sure looks like he was a strange dude, socially. At the end of that SNL show hosted by Steve Martin, when everyone starts doing their usual hugging thing, Maya Rudolph asks Prince if she can hug him, he smiles, hesitates a bit then hugs her but then immediately starts quickly walking away from stage, while Keenan Thompson who was waiting to hug him shouts "Prince, wait, where the heck are you going, Prince? Prince!" I thought that was both weird and kinda funny.

Christopher Walken Talks Career and That 'More Cowbell' Sketch

http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/n...ketch-20160513

You began making appearances on Saturday Night Live in the Nineties and in 2000, you played the central role in one of the show's most famous sketches, "More Cowbell." Did that seem like a standout from the beginning?
Oh, I knew it was funny. Yeah. Will Ferrell was hilarious. But it has stuck, I must say.

Do strangers often approach you and say "More cowbell"?
Sure. People talk about it. You never know what people will talk about. I've made so many movies, movies that I've never even seen. It's just as hard to make a movie that doesn't succeed as it is to make one that does. Things just happen a little mysteriously.

I agree, the skit where all the cast members were upsetting him and he was mentally rapping about them was good, especially the water one.

He did a great job.

As much as I love cowbell, the continental was so brilliant.
