What a great period! Could be 4 or 5-0 if not for Elliott's horrible start, some great saves from Gibson and that stupid disallowed goal.

yeah, and if he got a penalty for blatantly cross checking a guy on the ice 5 times, which he easily could have, it would have been a play universally criticized.

Just popping by to say hi. 20 to 1 in the morning here on the East Coast. Am tired, but there's no way I'm not watching a tie game where a win for the Flames would mean so much on so many levels.
I'm cautiously optimistic. Please Flames....make it happen.

It wasn't holding the stick, he had a arm lock on his arm, no holding the stick penalty, and of course there is no nhl runlet for holding a Flames players arm.

It's possible to get powerplays and still deal with poor officiating.
Though at this point it's like complaining about winter in Calgary.
