If the doesn't want to sell and keep these players, then I hope they give younger guys more games and call some AHLer from Wrangler. Change all the lines and try many combinations. If someone has a injuries or need some healing give them more time. I think Tanev or Andersson and may be Lindholm has some kind of problem.
Finally name Backlund or Huberdeau as Captain officially that he can lead.
The Flames media makes Stauffer look like a hardened critic of his hometown team.
Wills has been even harder to handle recently. Even Loubo and Steinberg don't know what to say when he is done speaking sometimes....there are awkward gaps before they reply.

Not saying you are wrong but I don’t see the flames doing any of those things until they are mathematically out.

Sometimes the best moves are the ones you don't make it.
We can still wait until the draft and do a better assessment of the season before trading away pieces.
It would be nice to get assets back for some guys but trading them for the sake of trading them makes zero sense.
We should be looking to see if guys like Lucic and potentially Lewis have any value and we can retain salaries.
Trading them opens up spots to keep Ruzicka in the lineup and Duher. Those two are guys we need to lean on moving forward not a Lucic and Lewis, even though Lewis has been fine.
Flames are the only team to not make a trade this season at this point.
What GM in their right mind would make a move to help their team address significant weaknesses when there was still time to right the ship? What kind of GM would give up NHL players for futures when it became clear they didn't have the horses to win this season? Obviously anyone who says otherwise is a simpleton neanderthal that doesn't "get" hockey management.
Given the fact that we are likely stuck with that gigantic Huberdeau contract for the foreseeable future and beyond, has there been any more smoke around the Duclair rumors? Looks like he's under contract for another season at 3mil per. I suppose it would be worthwhile exploring ways to try and revive Jonathan's game if the cost isn't too high...

I’m not the one who has created his own thread about the GM and has bumped it repeatedly over the years as though it actually means anything. Surprised you haven’t bumped it again, but I’m sure you’ll have something special to share latter on today. You’ve been whining for years about this.
What is dumb is complaining, incessantly, about the state of the organization and not even know where the criticism belongs. It’s not Treliving, it’s the owners.
This would explain a lot. It's complicated but I'm guessing there are some some differences coming from different directions.

You are very smart. Does that make you feel better?
Is there anywhere to stream some of this coverage live ? I haven't been able to get any of the apps to work and don't have access to my TV.
