A little annoying that the Jays let Mckenzie walk all over them after the Jays had him on the ropes the first 3 innings. Now Cleveland doing what Cleveland has done the last 7 years. Pitch well and execute. Jays have to fight to split tomorrow.

Jim Abbott, the one handed pitcher, had a 20 points higher batting average over his career than Zimmer does this year.

Jays again had the Indians starter on the ropes early and let him off the hook. Then he cruised through the Jays lineup easily. Oh and he's a spot starter called up from AAA
He's out of the game now and the Indians are in the pen. Same situation as yesterday where the Jays missed opportunities early and then the Indians retired the final 20(20!) Jays batters.

Just a two-gamer which is nice.
Also nice to see Manoah battling today. He doesn't have his best stuff today but he is keeping the Jays in the game.

Should have brought in Romano for 4 outs. He needed the work anyways.

Well back to back series losses now.
In the long run they should be fine, with this expanded playoff format, but they’ve yet to find their groove and they’re essentially 1/5th through the season now.
Will Montoya be in the hot seat at any point if they don’t round into form, or is he safe this season at least, regardless the result? Still not sold on him leading a team to a World Series title.
