First thing GG should say is to not sink into the trap of playing the ducks game, we're genuinely a better team when we play our way.

They also put Kesler and not Lindholm to the box, so maybe there was something going on that didn't show on TV?

Still weird. But I'll take Bennett for Kesler and Ferland for one of their D.

When did the league eliminate the holding the stick penalty? I missed that memo.

Default Game 2: Flames v. Ducks. CBC.

I'm glad the rough stuff and scrums get broken up by the period ending. Coaching staff and get the boys to refocus

Who cares, we're in it. Keep pushing.

That's what the team has to tell itself.

They are going to have to beat everything that can possibly be thrown at them to do this anyhow.

Are either of those the powerplay where Monahan scored and Brouwer was a positive presence in front of the net of?

He's had a disastrous season, the question was how long as he been taking faceoffs on the right side for because I just noticed tonight. It wasn't an opportunity for you to drone on about Brouwer again, after started a thread specifically for it.

Awesome period for the Flames, save for the fact that we didn't come out ahead.

Someone help me out? I'm watching this game and can't hear it. What's the reasoning for the mixed up lines? Someone hurt? Just mixing it up?

you let go of the stick to show lindholm was chicken winging it... what lindholm going to do? keep carrying the stick? He'd totally get a penalty for it.

Out of the play? like Lindholm on the ice was out of the play? worse case scenario its a 4 on 4... at worst

cross checking a prone guy on the ice 5 times?!

he's lucky he didn't get a penalty for it

Unless you think, maybe, that since the d-man covering you is literally flat on his back that you could, I don't know, get to the front of the net to take a pass if you could get your fricking stick free from the hold. Chiasson was aware that there was an offensive opportunity to be had. Sure, he would have totally effed it up and possibly scored on our own net because Honda Center but he still was trying to get into the play.

Lol, Elliot Friedman "that didn't work out so well for Marcus Aurelius". He's too smart for that panel.
