There have been so many reports lately, but many don’t have solid evidence. I generally trust Ukraine’s updates but wonder if a few grains of salt are warranted.
There's videos of multiple of these that can be confirmed visually. There are all pretty much occurring on the Avdiivka front.
Russia's extreme usage of glide bombs against Avdiivka is not a secret but not much of a discussion point in mainstream media. Putin's err Russia's election is March 17, and the Russian military was tasked to take all of the Donetsk region by the election. This and with the help of Russian assets in the US interfering with supplies, Russia was able to make a heavy push. There are also videos of planes flying over Avdiivka itself, meaning they are currently being used extensively on the retreating lines.
It's believed that the recent loss of the A50 has severely deteriorated Russia's ability to notice anti-air missile launches. This deterioration has not stopped Putin's plan, and the loss is as a result of a far more aggressive push deeper in Ukrainian lines, with lowered ability to detect missile launches. There is speculation on how Ukraine is knocking these down, even rumours of F-16s already been in Ukraine, but those rumours are unfounded. The better answer is Russia is simply being more careless.
It should not be forgotten that Russia lost nearly 200 planes in the first couple months of the war alone when they were attempting to knock out Ukraine capabilities and going after Kyiv. These were the days when Bayraktar TB2 drones were decimating the invasion (which you no longer see today as Russia wised up significantly by Russian standards and implemented safeguards)

I was about to say... Something's very strange with those numbers.
Out of the top 5 most recent threads on this section, the four others have between 14-22 viewers (9-19 guests), while the Russia thread has >50 times as many... weird.

That makes this random ass comment in the movie thread make sense. Combined with the bizarre ramblings about western culture being undermined from the same poster.

Russia has already lost the war, even if Ukraine ultimately loses as well. Putin might be ok with hundreds of thousands of casualties, but the vast amounts of equipment destroyed is not so easily replaced, nor can Russia's prestige be recovered. Russia is no longer a credible conventional military threat to the West, for its armed forces can't even project decisive power into an immediate neighbour.
The strategy of making Europe dependent on Russian gas, and thus theoretically unable to resist Russian policy, ended up an utter failure. Rather than achieving Putin's other goal of dividing and neutralizing the West with a quick victory and enforced European helplessness, the war has reinvigorated and expanded NATO, and sidelined the regimes inside the EU sympathetic to Russian interests. That the West can send its extra equipment and spare change to Ukraine and frustrate Putin's ambitions shows how weak Russia has become, and so Russia has lost, and whatever they might salvage with a "victory" will still leave them in a far worse position than they were pre-invasion.
Best thing for Russia would be for Putin to die or be overthrown, and have his replacement reconcile with the West, as the other option is becoming a de facto Chinese client state. Either way, the dream of re-establishing a Russian empire is dead.

Lol, I didnt know what Yandex was until he mentioned it, and it only piqued my interest because of his insane thoughts on the subversive elements of Inception.
So i googled it and apparently its a Russian search engine. I mean, even if you are living in Canada, if you are using Yandex as a verb, its suspect
I would be interested to know if there has been an uptick in requests to join the forum. Considering this article came out the other day:
So seriously, who is viewing the thread? Is there a way we can find out?
It's weird. It must be a glitch or something. Or Russian bots.
Anyhow, Warographics released a video about the current situation in Ukraine, and unfortunately, it does not paint a positive picture. Things can change if the West acts soon though, but they layout some pretty big hurdles, in particular manpower in Ukraine.
