It’s beyond the old times of the panel even denying the refs favouring the Oilers

They’re now just explaining why the refs are favouring the Oilers

Hopefully mainstream media south of the border takes note and calls out this pathetic excuse for hockey. If there’s one thing the NHL hates it’s negative press.
Part of the problem is that 95% of current NHL officials probably grew up fans of the 80's Oilers and that is why they get so much favoritism from current NHL officials.

Is AI good enough to ref yet? It couldn't possibly do worse.

It wouldn't make a revenge diving call a year later in a series elimination game, so that's a massive improvement.

Funny that McDavid has also been called for embellishment in the past and yet Sportsnet doesn’t talk about that?

Basically said “hard to tell who you guys are cheering for, you found a dive with Fiala and goal where you can’t see the puck”

Oilers ahead by 2? Okay, put the whistles away! Seriously, why not post the final score now?

What a garbage series to watch if you're anyone but an Oilers fan, can't say Kings didn't deserve it for winning that meaningless game end of the season. Single-handedly rolled the carpet for an Oilers western conference run. Canucks are better but playing their 3rd string isn't exactly inspiring.

Their job accomplished the refs have now put their whistles away.

I’d have a tough time shaking hands after this debacle of a game.

A bad two days for Los Angeles based teams. Bunch of losers. Hopefully Ohtani is next!

Thought the Kings would play with some pride in this series but they really haven’t made life difficult at all for the Oilers. Just sucks to see a team ride the one sided reffing and power play to an easy series win. Gotta think the hockey gods can’t like this brand of hockey.

It’s okay, whoever stumbles out of that dog #### series between Canucks / Oilers is going to get slaughtered with whoever comes out of the Central. Any of those 3 remaining teams will mop the floor with these scrubs.

Canucks need to wrap it up in Nashville first. Hopefully Demko can come back, but I believe in silovs too
