God. The morning guys are ridiculous with how flabbergasted they are by the Tkachuk goal on Sat. Boomer, Klein and Krahn are all apoplectic that it was an obvious high stick that should never have counted. Dummies.

The segments about them talking about their football bets drives me away from the station. I'm surprised something as small as that would do it as I'm generally patient but I have zero interest in people talking about their picks.

LOL, it's funny how hard it is for some of these broadcasters (add Hughson and Simpson) to see how simple the whole situation was - very likely a high-stick, but not conclusive enough to overturn. This sort of thing has been happening for decades now...

The also announced what the ref's stance was. The best angle (camera close to shoulder height as opposed to look down at some tricky angle) showed the puck contacted near Tkachuk's shoulders while Tkachuk was crouched over.
But HNIC had to make it out to be a moral betrayal somehow.

I'm not so sure about this 10-noon show. First 10 minutes talking about the Canucks and Oilers big wins last night and great starts is making me ill. If Kelly Kirch wanted to make fans feel worse about being a Flames fan then mission accomplished by adding an Edmonton and Vancouver focussed show to a Calgary station at a period they are up and the Flames down.
