Davis goes so out of his way to avoid head-on-head contact he hurts himself... still gets the penalty.

Some of the calls the NFL had to implement are a little overboard

2 sacks against Luck? That's it?

Pretty unimpressive pass rush from GB against easily the weakest pass protection in the league

Saints finally find .500, leading into Broncos & Panthers in a 5 day span. Just glad the season's exciting again, that receiving core is lethal. Mike Thomas is such a stud, kid's going to be special.

Denver looks intimidated having to play against the single greatest young QB to ever throw a football. Hopefully they can stop gazing in awe long enough to mount some sort of offense.

In all seriousness though it looks like Roby is going to get picked on all night. A lot of injuries in the secondary, that pass rush better speed it up

CJ Andersson is a much bigger loss than people suspected. Booker is a nice change of pace back right now, but thats about it.

Also looks like noodle arm Manning isnt quite as replaceable as some people thought

Thats an impressive win for Oakland. Osemele is proving to be a great FA signing.

Good to see officials finally start throwing flags on Broncos CB's. These guys have been mauling receivers for a few years now and there's a fine line between great defense and cheating and they have been crossing it a lot. I think the officiating group that did the season opener got thoroughly embarrassed for allowing all those cheap shots on Newton and they wanted to ensure they didn't get embarrassed again on a big prime time game.

Never heard of this guy but I'm now a fan -- Raiders punter Marquette King: http://www.theplayerstribune.com/mar...can-i-kick-it/

I’m standing back there getting ready for the snap, and I’m so nervous. Then the Cowboys are getting set to rush the punt, and all of a sudden I see one of their linebackers looking at me funny.

He yells out, “Yo, what is this?”

He’s pointing at me. Then he’s waving to his teammates. I’m just confused.

Then he yells, “A black punter? It’s a fake! Yo, it’s a fake!”

I just start laughing. That kills all my nerves, and I finally relax and boom it 57 yards for a fair catch.

I can still see the faces of those Cowboys players, looking at me like, What’s up with this dude? Where’d he come from?

My memory is fuzzy on this, but I think it worked one time on MNF on Sept. 24, 1979.

http://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/...amvsteam?opp=9

There was a time many home teams made Dallas wear the blue for some superstitious edge.

Pretty sure I watched this game. LOL - the ads before the game are real time capsule stuff. Brings me back.

Rodney Hudson too, they were in a position to pay a premium because the team is so young but picking up two top 5 guys at C and LG to work beside each other as helped the run game so much

Collinsworth pointed it out last night but they run to the left maybe 60% of the time and its because those two make the hole open up so easily

Ya he's great, they knew they had a great one with him even when Lechler was here, put him on IR one year and paid him with an injury people think he could have come back from, just to make sure they could keep him and have him for the next year when Lechler left

Fun game right now with no defense being played.
