I'm a moron and put Thompson Water Seal on my front steps... Looks great except for the fact that water pools on top after rain. That wasn't a big deal until this morning until these puddles became icy sheets of death this morning.
Any thoughts on how to fix this on a hopefully warm Thanksgiving Sunday?

Sander?
The other option might be to buy some of that non-slip tape. It's a bit like sand paper.

Cancer question: if someone makes a appointment for a biopsy for cancer cell today, how long would it take to get the biopsy appointment in Calgary?
Also, how long would it take to get the results?
TIA

can't speak about wait times, but results should be fast; 24 hours is reasonable, if the pathology lab is efficient/not backed up, and the test is routine
edit: I'm referring to most soft tissue biopsies; bone would be different, as would fatty tissue - maybe 48 hours for these cases

now that I'm off warranty, and don't receive free maintenance, I want to know what I can get away with, and what is important to maintain

Let's keep this thread about quick questions; or more importantly about questions we think will have quick answers. If you are hoping to get 2 or more replies to your question; please feel free to start a new thread. The previous discussion about jet lag could have been in it's own thread, as another example.

It was a quick question... I only got 4 replies to my question and I got my answer.

It's important to maintain what's on that list . Stuff the dealer adds like fuel injection cleaning etc shouldn't be on the list in the manual. Should be major stuff like transmission flush, oil changes, fuel filters etc.

Didn't mean to single you out. However we seem to be at a point where people are afraid to start threads because they feel it should go into here. I have seen it a few times where somebody starts a thread, and the first reply is "why didn't you ask here?" You also didn't get my answer which was slightly different; because the thread had already gone in a different direction.
A couple of other recent examples, vehicle maintenance and TFSAs.

You should leave it long for winter protection. In spring cut it down gradually, never more than a third of the blade length at a time.

Is someone willing to touch up a photo a bit for me? It should be an easy one for a Photoshopper. If someone will do this, send me an email address by PM. Many thanks.

Do car seats have to be facing forward? Or can they be facing to the side or backwards? (I'm doing some research)

Some seats can face backwards, I don't think any face sideways.

You want the widest aperature possible. It reduces depth of field.
