"heart of gold"?
Jesus. I like Biden overall, but you don't stay in politics your entire adult life if you have a "heart of gold". Save the fawning for someone who deserves it.

In political relative context I agree with the "heart of gold" comment. Compare him to Trump and convince me this is false.

Yeah, his voting record in the Senate doesn't exactly indicate "heart of gold."

It's a line, drawn in crayon on the floor tiles.
About a foot over, more crayon drawing can be seen, specifically a penis with "Wanksy" scribbled beside it.

Yeah, a little hyperbolic, I suppose. I meant that Biden has his heart in the right place and generally tries to do the right thing for Americans, in contrast to Trump who doesn’t GAF about anyone but himself and cares how much he can grift from the country and Americans. I don’t know his Senate voting record as I’ve only started following U.S politics since Trump first ran. There is no politician I agree with 100% of the time.

This is ridiculous! How can a President go around breaking laws if he doesn’t have immunity?
A dark day for democracy.

Biden has his heart with his corporate masters, just like every other candidate in any elected position in the US government for basically, decades.
The fact that people think that isn't true is kinda scary at this point.

An overly simplistic talking point that republicans love to trot out, in hopes of glossing over the very real differences between the two parties. Republicans know full well that it's their politicians doing most of the damage to the country, and while it's true that democrats cause some of it too, they do far, far less. But republicans/conservatives want everyone to think that both parties are equally to blame for the problems the country faces.
"Heart with corporate masters" is not a simple 100% or 0% type of thing; the amount varies from politician to politician. I'd point at Bernie and AOC as examples of high profile US politicians who are very low % in that regard.

I think Biden is less in bed with big corporations than any president in recent memory, including Obama. He's actually done a lot that they must disagree with pretty strongly.

Could someone ask Trump what crimes he committed that he’d like immunity for? I think that’d really help everything along.

Has there ever been a part with so many certifiable wingnuts? Trump, Luna, Stefanik, Greene, Boebert, Gaetz, Rosendale, Mace, and dozens more that I can't even possibly name.

Apparently the Republicans are all in against Democracy, party members have said if the SCOTUS removes Trump from eligibility they will just ignore it and put him on the ballot anyhow.

Boy oh boy, they're going to get such a finger wagging! They might even get "I'm not mad, just disappointed."
