Yeah, keep hoping I’ll wake up one day to find it was all just some crazy but if performance art.
Someone I know (fortunately don’t have to see him around much, and his band sucks) just went on a rant that Trump’s impeachment was false/fake. I can’t take it any more.

They aren't even afraid of Trump, one of the biggest pussies around. They are, however, afraid of their base. As with a lot of things with the GOP they don't really fear Trump, he's just a conduit. As long as the cult is out there and primaries exist, that is who they really fear.

They're currently in the process of rigging the midterm elections in their favour, so I doubt they'll be too worried about their base by the time November rolls around. They already know they're gonna win.
