I do wonder if there is a dome cover for the clusters that traps less heat but doesn’t look like crap.

Oh man we've got some halogen pot lights that are sooooo annoying. It never really occurred to me to just replace the fixtures until this moment. Which seems like an annoying job and will slot too far down my to do list, but probably better than living in half darkness (just the mud/laundry room) and procrastinating on replacing a few at a time only to be in half darkness again within weeks.

I just got new LED bulbs for ours. Phillips makes some with two prongs that are a direct replacement for the GU20, though I guess it depends on your current fixture.

Shouldn't you be able to just find an LED bulb with the correct connector (ie: A19, GU10, MR16 etc.) to swap them in? Use the existing fixture for now.

Probably. TBH its just an annoying problem that I've never spent a brain cell thinking about trying something different. Until now, kinda. Still probably gonna procrastinate.

It really grinds my gears that people post the scores in the FOI for Flames games. I often work late and always watch with a time delay to reduce the stupid commercials. If I wander into the FOI it would be nice to not have the game spoiled by something that provides no benefit to anyone else.

Well a portion of that quantity comes from one-two line GT reaction posts or 0.02 drive bys on FOI. Not sure that qualifies me as nearly as balls deep as some OT forum regulars.
I don't spend much time in the OT forum. But with the depth of engagement in the popular threads, I think much more time and effort is probably being put in on average.
I can easily be considered a regular on FOI, but you really don't have to think much about what you're rattling off over there, so that number can probably climb quickly.

What? Is this sarcasm? Have you tried not reading the main Flames discussion forum when you’re trying not to have results spoiled?

Gotta make sure you buy dimmables for dimming applications. Made that mistake once and it was annoying AF.
Still working through a backlog of halogen GU10's at home and some have lasted years and some other housings seem to go through them in weeks, all in the same room same circuit. Super annoying. I think it's a combination of poor heat management and something to do with a ballast in the light fixture itself??
Anyways, found some dimmable GU10's, 7W (instead of 50W), had a really high volume of 4.5-4 starts on Amazon. wish me luck.

I'm all for the general gear grinder that people who care nothing about the actual game love to spoil scores for others (do they feel like newsbreakers or something??).
But seriously, thinking "I don't want tonight's Flames game to to be spoiled for me" and then heading over to a Calgary Flames discussion board, in the section specifically for discussing the Flames? It's like you're looking for spoilers.

No. It is not sarcasm. Yes, I try not to go in when I know the game is on. But I often use CP as a break between projects and pop in to see what is happening and if we traded anybody. When the game is in the east, it will likely be over before I can start watching.
The score in the PGT adds nothing to the PGT. It completely wrecks the game for anyone who has not seen it yet. It seems unreasonable to have to avoid half of the entire forum so that I can enjoy the game. I had to come home and talk to my wife last night. Really? Come on. That's just not right.
I judge this to be a valid gear grinder.

Scoring Winger

Still can't tell if this is an elaborate troll, but if not, this is a completely invalid gear grinder.
You "try not to go in"? Would you navigate to the Masters of the Air subreddit an hour after the latest episode goes live, if you didn't want to read about what happens in said episode?

A trade? Mid game or game night? How often does that happen? Once?
I think you just gotta dial in your mindless muscle memory. I’m sure it’s how most of us regulars end up here so often, so it’s no judgement. But I am judging your GG….

The crappy part is after a decade of not changing light bulbs you are about to hit needing to replace them all. I hate changing lightbulbs and it’s almost worse when you have to do it less.

Hmmm. I may need to reconsider but it is not like I am going into the game thread itself. I used the trade thing as an example.
It seems like a small ask to not have the score in the thread title but I am willing to accept the judgement of the mob.
Alternatively, I WILL FIGHT THIS TO THE DEATH. Where is my aspersions casting stick!! YOU All SUCK!!
