I will agree with that. Ultimately I hate players playing the refs. Let then do their jobs. I'm not arguing the foul or card on Badstuber, I hate the acting.
But back to the match

Less than 24 hours to go for Croatia to start up!!
Germany can do better. This is not a great start for them. Very disappointing..

That definitely wasn't a perfect cross, that definitely was deflected off the Portugese defender.

Why didn't Portugal send their goalie up on that last corner?

Wasn't pretty. But a win is a win. Portugal did probably deserve a better fate. Germany needs to be much better, they are very beatable. Hummels was outstanding tonight. Ozil was good. The rest need to step it up.
Ugly win. They need to fix their crosses into the box. Weren't veey good.
Tip my hat to Portugal, you guys battled hard and deserved better.

Portugal played very well in the final 20 minutes AFTER going down 1-0.
Why didn't they play like that from the get-go? Why is the Portuguese coach scared?

Yeah, not sure why they only had 6 up. They knew that that corner was going to be their last attempt to score.

Predicting the Dutch hammer the Germans and Portugal beats the Danes so they all go into their final game on 3 points.

Portugal did everything but score there but the result on the whole match is probably right. But a tie would have been fair as well.
Portugal were better in a loss than Denmark were in their win. That's soccer.

off-topic... Messi has a hat-trick against Brazil, they're now up 4-3.

Played scared to lose until they went a goal down.
Postiga .... absolutely freaking useless. No way Oliveria doesn't get the start next game.

Postiga was garbage but I think Almeida starts. Oliveira was brought in for speed to test some tired legs. Almeida is a big guy and is good for 60 mins. Oliveira will be a sub on wednesday

Portugal had chances, just couldn't finish
would like Ronaldo to be receiving those passes than giving them in an ideal world for Portugal
Denmark game is huge, need 3 points no matter what
Germany are just warming up it seems

Just noticed that Ozil got Man of the Match. Brutal choice IMO. Hummels and Boateng were way stronger. I didn't notice Ozil very much.

Yes Germany!
Not their most telling performance, but they did enough to get the 3 points. Have to be pretty happy about the result considering how the Germans are always slow starters in these type of tournaments.
The Denmark-Netherlands result has definitely made this group wide open now, which isn't surprising to say the least.

Spain technically going with 6 midfielders this morning, Fabregas starting in the striker hole usually filled by Villa.
Italy go with the rumored 3-5-2 that Juventus used to perfection in the Serie A this season, Juve was undefeated in domestic league play and 6 of the 11 starters are from Juve.
