Any chance someone could test the lag difference between TuneIn and a live AM stream of the Fan? (to see if it would be useful at games)

Is there some sort of "where is my family at" app? I know I've seen the American comercials that show your friends as dots so you can find out where they are.
I'm thinking that would be good for me and my fiancee. I'll try to meet with her, and I when I ask where she is I get something like "I'm at the corner of 'Walk' and 'Don't Walk.'" Then when I tell her to pick me up instead she claims not to know the difference between city hall and the Calgary tower. (Good thing she's cute.)

Sounds like you need the ultimate pimp app, the "where my hoes at?" app.
You have to keep track of them biches. You will never be unaware of which corner your hoes are on again.
Upgrade to the pro model, and you can even keep track of other pimp's hoes, so that you know they ain't creepin' on your territory.

If you pay for MobileMe you can download the "find my iPhone" app and it'll locate any iPhone you have it linked to. The best part of my wife getting her iPhone so far is that I don't have to constantly call her to see where she is while I'm trying to time something (when to have dinner ready or if I have time to do something before she gets home). MobileMe is $100/year though, so it's probably not something you buy just for that one feature.

Reminds me of an exchange I had with my wife a few years ago. She was trying to meet me where I was but was having some directional issues, though at least she was able to read the street signs.
Her:"I'm at 17th and 4th"
Me:"OK, no problem, you just have to go West 3 blocks and I am right here."
Her: (frustration in her voice)"I don't know which way 'West' is! Do I go left or right?"
Me: (long pause) "I don't know which way your facing."
Her:"I'm facing straight!"
Like you said Ken, good thing she's cute.

I think I saw one before but I forget what it was called.
It is like Trials HD for the 360 arcade but you draw the landscape (the ground he drives on).

I have no idea what Trials HD is, but iDork sounds like a very basic version of what you're looking for.

Final Fantasy was priced yesterday at $5. Not sure what it was before that, but it's a steal at that price.

Well I downloaded Duke Nukem 3D. What a terrible game. Well, the game is fine, it is the controls which are atrocious. Why can't they just use 2 thumbsticks (like Brothers in Arms) instead? The way you move and look is stupid. I'll try and give it another chance but lordy it is hard to move and aim at the same time.

Good news!
Was just searching the App store and came across NHL 2K11 which is now $0.99 until October 8th (to celebrate the start of the season). It is regularly like $6.99 so download it fast!

I am looking for an iPad app.
The iPad app in question will do one of two things:
1. It will be a working, decent MU* client.
2. OR, it will be an app that enables me to Remote Desktop to my PC so that I may be able to utilize my PC's MU* client.
Recommendations?

I stand by logmein for all my remote-home needs. It isn't cheap ($30), but the computer client is free and the app works much better than others I've tried.
