I think he's not in very good shape, and the pitch clock is forcing him rush more than he's used to.

It's funny because IMO the pitch clock is having the exact opposite effect on Kikuchi.

Manoah needs more time to mentally reset when he's off, while the pitch clock helps Kikuchi to stay out of is own head and just pitch.

I think it’s his delivery. It’s not good/consistent. I think one of the side effects to rushing him to the majors is that he didn’t fully figure out his mechanics and they are failing him now.

I think he's still very young and growth is not linear. Even Doc ended up back in the minors early in his career. He'll sort it out.

Tough outing for Gausman so far. Probably his worst as a Jay. Which is such a testament to how awesome he has been.

Doc reminds me of Pearson. There were so many questions if Halladay would be good at the time but once he came back he didn't look back. Pearson has the same makeup and physique as him. Anyway, I really hope for him he has his confidence up.

Missed the start of this disaster, but did realize Houston is wearing their new City Connect jerseys. MLB has knocked most if not all of these outta the park. Can't wait until the Jays get theirs in the years to come.

Yep. Life is too short to watch a blowout in April. I'll be back watching tomorrow.
