Yes, the Yankees are missing Judge, Stanton and LeMahieu (and can any team put up 3 better bats than that?), but I think they are beatable in a playoff series.

The Yankess have a good bullpen, but so do they Jays. And I don't think their starters are all that great. Add a pitcher to the jays' staff and I think it's better than the Yanks. Team ERA is half a run better as is.

Add a bat, and of course Bichette, and I think the offense is at least close enough to compete.

Man would it be fun to watch this team playing the Yanks in the playoffs.

Well, we'll get to see a lot of the Yanks down the stretch in important games, after that we can decide if we want them in the playoffs haha.

Oh that is interesting. Makes me worry Bo's injury is more serious than we think though.

I am pretty sure I read yesterday that he just started with baseball activities yesterday, hitting off a tee.

I think Simmons buys Bichette some time, and his defense would really help the team a lot. I wonder if Simmons or Bichette could play 3rd.

I checked baseball-reference and Simmons has never played an out at 3B in his professional career, neither has Bichette. In fact, neither has played anything but SS. Interesting enough though, Biggio played some 3B in the minors, including almost 300 innings in 2018 at AA

Well, at least it is at a weak point in the schedule. Hopefully he can get back soon and regain his form before we start playing the Yankees on a daily basis

Mets tied it in the 8th today, but the Yankees won it in the bottom of the 9th.

Jays need to hold serve (and further crush the spirit of the Os)

One minor trade that could really help would be Asdrubal Cabrera. He is a solid bat to add to the lineup, can play 3rd, 2nd and 1st. I think he is the type of veteran hitter this team could use. He is a pending free agent, doubt he would cost a lot. Just not sure if Washington is at the point where they want to sell off pieces.

Vladdys homer to right field last night was his first big league homer to the opposite field. He was so excited he asked for the ball haha. That's adorable.
