Typical MacLean where it was all over the place. I heard more of a "clear his conscience" type of speech then anything else, which I guess is his right if Snet let's him.

I dont think he should have been fired for this but he should have been forced into retirement before the beginning of this season by Roger's not renewing him. I like him just like every Canadian but man he was getting really tough to listen too

A proper poll option for me would be in between. I don't agree with the whole 'anyone that says something I don't like needs to lose their job' mentality, but also you can't say that and probably should have retired a while ago

Nope. The "honoring" of Don was done somewhere earlier in Ron's scatterbrained diatribe I assume.
It was right at the end, but it seems clear the Ron was pretty off the cuff there. Then again, I don't think you go into a 5 minute live spiel without knowing how you get out of it.
If it's time to move on, then fair enough. After 38 years, I think you could get away with a montage that shows the good, bad, and ugly of DC...but maybe we can a better, longer version of that next week to bring some reasonable closure to this whole deal.
Hopefully they don't wait until the last weekend of the season like they did for Bob Cole, not realizing it will also be the Humboldt anniversary...

The time to honour him will come at some unknown point in the future
Right now I suspect that’s the last mention we will hear of Cherry on SN for some time
Hey will want to move on.
