I mean I guess you have to give credit to davod Perron. He play that Burrows type role and when it's working things go his way. It's certainly working for him tonight.

Caps are scrambling. They're biting on the after whistle bait that they didn't in the games prior. Games not close to being over. If anyone can score three or four goals and put this puppy to bed. its the caps, if they can get their heads screwed on straight again.

Vegas was lucky that period. That player without a stick holding the dmen that side stepped him should have been called. One thing to let puck battles like Perrin and Djoos, but that was a gift from the refs.

That was putrid officiating.

You didn't actually call the trip on Ovie a iffy call did you?

But all he did was shoulder check him. He didnt hold him any more you do alond the glass. No hold there. I just rewinded it to see why the complaints. Marginal call at best. The wsh penalty prevented a great scoring chance. They have to call that.

HA! I disagree. The refs are doing a very poor job.

That being said. I can't wait until the Flames have to deal with the horrible officiating in the Stanly Cup Finals again!

He is allowed to check a guy. Stick or not. He didnt hold him. Rewatch it if you have a chance.

The caps could have got the extra penalty in either of those last 2 scrums as well but they didn't.

All 5 penalties they called tonight have been reasonable imo. The goal challenge was the correct call. Both teams have got away with stuff too. The refs have done a completely reasonable job tonight thus far.

Let it go, this is a great game just enjoy it.

I see the caps dmen side step Tatar and you can see dmen try to take a stride but can't because he is held up.

Did you see what the refs let go right before that penalty? Sure, it's a penalty, but the call before was even more obvious and it was in a direction all the refs were looking.

The refs are honorary Golden Knights.

Yes he did, and I did re-watch it. That was a blown call.

lol, no bias in this take at all.

You don't need to tell anyone to be letting anything go in a thread discussing game play.

The officiating in the NHL is generally terrible, but that last few minutes was something special.

Wow, the first 3 minutes of this period is more exciting than the first half of the Flames' season! Crazy hockey

Perhaps SportsNet is emphasizing something different than NBC. Because watching live, there hasn't been any obvious unilateral missed calls. Were the SN commentators talking a lot about any missed calls on Vegas?

Great shift by the Caps there, and now a PP.
