Raptors is still in this game. They just need to focus on the game. Screw the refereeing and play better defense.

This is such a lacklustre game by the Raps. Too many bad low percentage shots and allowing guys down the lane. So frustrating. This is theirs if they move the ball better and take it in the paint, but they insist on just one person doing it all. Selfish and unnecessary.

Another thing. How is a little guy like Dragic allowed to post up successfully in the paint. That is embarrassing.

I just cannot stand Wade these days. Such a freaking diver and referees are falling for his acting most of the time.

Johnson in. Finally. At least a couple hard fouls should help.

Script flipped for Toronto. The all-stars showed up and the role players #### the bed. Game 7 is gonna be tense. Don't have alot of faith in the Toronto fans to pick the team up if things get dicey so let's hope for a fast start for our boys.

Herculean task ahead / they are chokers / the NBA does not want some lame market like Canada for the Conference finals / Wade can score 100 if he wants / it will be a foul if they breathe on him / they have an inferior coach /
Will be amazing if they can win / odds have to be heavily heavily in the Heats favor

Reason for the Raptors' lost.... no secondary scorers nd shoddy defense. You cannot just rely on just two of your best players to carry the whole team. Defense was awful especially against Dragic. They were so worried about Wade too much that they left Dragic, Winslow and Richardson open a lot tonight. Biyombo played more minutes than his usual game and he started to get tired. Biyombo' backup was non-factor. Not sure what is wrong with Powell because I didn't think I saw him play at all tonight. It looks like the Raptors are thinking about playing Cleveland already because they weren't hungry at all tonight. Anyways, they are going back to Toronto next game and hopefully they play a lot better than tonight.

They are not done yet so how can you call them chokers? Give a credit to Miami because they looked ready from the get-go and played a lot better than the Raptors. They took advantage playing at home with help from their fans and of course the referees as well. If they lose next game, then go ahead call them a choker but not after tonight. As far as I can remember a lot of people here predicted Miami are going to walk all over the Raptors in this series and yet here we are, they are going to play Game 7 at home on Sunday.

It's popular to hate all things Toronto but I have to hand it to them as fans as they're likely among the tops in terms of loyalty given the lack of success of the Leafs and Raptors.

At least it looks like Lowry and Derozan have found their groove and confidence ahead of the game 7. They will need someone to slow down Dragic, as he seems to be more of a nightmare to guard than Wade. I wonder if the Raps match the heat and take Patterson out of the starting line up, they struggled to get rebounds with a bigger lineup today. Insert someone like Johnson or Powell in hopes to trying to shut down Dragic.
I posted this before and I'll post about it again. I hate the Raptors in afternoon games and that's what game 7 will be. They just never seem ready for them, the Pacers destroyed them in afternoon games last series and I am worried about this next game.

I was at game 5 of the Pacers series. Me, another friend from Calgary and a buddy of ours from the NWT. Not sure if the fact they we only go to games every few years was a factor (in the sense that it was more of an event for us) but were easily the most optimistic, supportive fans anywhere close to our seats. As soon as they started to fall behind in the first quarter people were openly ####talking the team and ripping guys for mistakes that were happening and went silent. It was pretty surprising to see given the reputation they have as being such loud, loyal fans.
I'll give them credit, they do a fantastic job of showing up at games and when things are going well they are fabulous and loud. The comeback in the 4th quarter that I witnessed had people standing and cheering throughout entire commercial breaks/timeouts, it was crazy. But when things are tense or not going well, they meltdown/turn on the team a little bit. That's all I meant by my post.
***edited to add- was at a game near the end of January as well vs the Clippers where the Raps fell down by 15 in the first q before launching a major comeback and running away with it. Same thing happened as they fell behind, person insults to players, complete negativity. Than the tide turned and the lovefest with the team resumed. So it wasn't just a game 5 thing.

Raptors fans are fantastic. There were some awfully lean years and the ACC was still full of loud fans. You're going to have negativity because there are a lot of highs and lows over the course of a basketball game. But this is not a fickle fan base

Lol you obviously haven't followed the Raps / they have choked for years on end / IF they make the playoffs they then bomb out / their top players disappear / it's been a gong show for so long / will be an absolute stunner if they don't choke at home / literally will be earth shattering!

They'll probably win game 7 at home given how this series has gone and how they've responded to losses, but that'll probably be the last win unless JV can come back. Lowry is grooving again so I expect he'll have a big game 7.
