The NFL schedules halftime acts that typical football fans wouldn't like on purpose. They know the football fans will tune into the game regardless, so they put acts on at halftime to draw in non-football fans.

Got to say I liked the Half-Time show. Even though I'm the farthest person from a Madonna fan, was rather entertaining.

Beat the hell out of Black Eyed Peas.
