I've yet to reconcile how Julios has lasted so long, but the location across the street turns over every year and a half or so.

Any recommendations for a decent breakfast place in the NW? Further NW the better. Preferably one without giant lineups on the weekend like Dairy Lane. Preferably no chains.
I just want eggs, sausage, toast, maybe some crispy hash browns. Something like Hillcrest Cafe in Kelowna, if anyone is familiar with that spot, or even the Jammery (although it’s usually crazy busy).
Anyone tried Brokin Yolk? It’s a bit expensive but looks about right.

4th Spot is pretty good (there is an actual breakfast place a few doors down, but never tried it). I also used to like Red's Diner (at least the 4th St. location downtown) I don't know what the new one is like in Kensington, probably overpriced.

That’s down the hill from me in Creekside. I’ve been there a few times and it’s kind of a trendy place err go a bit pricier, but definitely good.
If you’re after just the simple bacon and eggs type as you noted, there’s the Sunset Grill in Sage Hill crossing. It’s an all day breakfast place that is pretty consistent if not basic.

Further the NW the better? Sunny Side Up in Cochrane is awesome.
Hah - the Jammery. I love that place.

I've chosen to go hungry rather than eat at Coras.
Interesting that Sunset Grill is opening out here... I've been to several locations throughout Southern Ontario and was always pleased.

I thought Sunset was more like a Denny's, nothing that great about it.
I've never had a bad meal at Brokin Yolk, their bacon and duck fat hasbrowns are fantastic. I usually end up with the braised beef hash or the truffle, ham and wild mushroom breakfast poutine.

Looks like they charge more than they used to, so maybe it's still a thing.
