Lol, well given their recent history this is the pot calling the kettle black! Really, would you be entirely surprised if Liverpool went from beating City and ruining the perfect season to losing to Swansea?

Exactly why I posted it! Go from beating the unbeatable best team in the League to playing the worst? I could see them lose.

So I am attempting to exorcise bad Juju.

Mkhitaryan looks like he's in a hostage video. Surprised they didn't work in Alexis dogs into the photo. And City decide today of all days is the day to announce a new De Bruyne contract, as if designed to minimize coverage.

not just the same day - the same time! Hilarious stuff, they are obviously a bit butthurt and it only makes all of this sweeter to me. Can't wait to see Alexis in action for United, what a signing!

Arsenal are also working on signing Aubameyang from Dortmund. Reuniting him and Mkhitaryan might not be the worst idea, and Mislintat obviously knows them very well. Could be interesting. Apparently Arsenal are open to sending Giroud the other way ... everybody used to say "swap deals never happen!", but those times are obviously over.

Any City butthurt seems strange. End of the day they simply didn't need Sanchez, and benching one of Sane, Sterling or Aguero/Jesus to accommodate Sanchez just makes no sense. Just a better fit at United who need him badly.

agreed. Still, they've thought for months that they pretty much have him in the bag, so him turning around to sign for the other team in town probably isn't making them happy either.

By the way:

While United were willing to pay agents’ fees that City (and clubs like Chelsea and Bayern Munich wouldn’t), sources close to the Old Trafford hierarchy dispute some ideas about the figures. They say Sanchez will be paid on par with Paul Pogba at around £300,000 week, for obvious diplomatic reasons, and that the signing-on fee was not £20m.

so much for the half million bull#### spouted by some journalists last week.

This was always inevitable. You knew they'd come out flat after a balls to the wall effort. I suppose that makes it even more embarrassing that it's predictable.

Truly does not get much more Liverpool than losing to the team at the bottom of the table eight days after beating the team at the top of the table.

this past week is a good summary of what Klopp is all about. His teams regularly excel against top teams, but they disappoint just as regularly against the weaker teams. Ironically that makes a Champions League triumph much more realistic than a league championship.

Any Arsenal fans care to explain to me why there is nowhere near the amount of vitriol and hatred towards Sanchez as there was/is towards RvP?

Both move to a hated rival. RvP seeking trophies. Sanchez more about the money.

Watching Arsenalfantv the general reaction there is they wish Sanchez all the best, thank him for the memories and he will be clapped on his return to The Emirates.
Yet,they still to this day hate RvP. Piers Morgans still refers to him as Robin van Pursestrings yet nothing about Sanchez.

What's the difference?

It's so unbelievably boring to watch these teams set up 10 in their own box and never even think about attacking. You cant blame them either, it's the only way they have a chance.

All their hatred is just at Wenger nowadays

That's what I'm figuring.

No matter what anyone does, it's his fault.

Truth be told they hate Kroenke a lot more than they hate Wenger. I mean obviously they want Wenger to go, but for the most part they don't really think that will change much so long as Kroenke is in control. I think in this case it's hard to blame Alexis, it's not like he demanded to go, I think he ultimately wanted to stay at Arsenal, they just dicked up this whole process from the beginning, tied with their inability/unwillingness to spend to improve the club.

No different from RvP. No desire to sign a new contract. Forced them into selling him.

What do you base the bolded on?
