He’s a big body who skates well and forechecks well. Pretty much a Sutter-type player. Thankfully his contract is bad and the Habs asking price is too high for any trade to realistically happen

The Flames are usually so tight lipped that the media have no clue what is going to happen.

They can say "I understand that the Flames are looking to add a #1 RW and have a deal in place" but 15 minutes later news breaks that the Flames have dealt a defensemen for picks.

I think it's clear that Flames are taking calls on their players, but obviously they wont trade just for the sake of trading. Canes make a lot of sense, they could use an upgrade at center and they have plenty of prospects Flames would love. We will just have to wait and see
