Kadri is my least favourite Flames player since Neal. How the HELL did Tre give Naz a 7 year contract, taking him to 39 @ $7M.
That's quickly going to become the worst contract in the NHL if it isn't already.

Are you surprised? Mason Raymond, Troy Brouwer, Lance Bouma.. and even Coleman is not looking great.
I knew he overpaid over 1 elite season, yet i and a few others got flack from the majority saying this was a good deal. No surprise if you actually think about it based on his overall career numbers. He didnt want to play here earlier, now he does, $$$ talks.

Signing aging players to huge retirement contracts, who woulda thought that might turn out poorly...
All 3 of the Kadri, Huberdeau and Coleman contracts are going to be painful for a while yet.
Maybe we'll learn. Doubt it though, there's always a shiny new thing to throw all our cap space at. GM's can't spend $$ fast enough every time the cap goes up so this will always be a thing.

Just completely suck in the regular season and then turn into Messier in the playoffs!

Six games, he'll be suspended for at least two of them. Although the physicality and nastiness from his game aren't there as well. What the hell happened? If he can't score, or put up numbers I at least expected him to be an agitator of sorts. Yet Kadri hasn't even been doing that!

It's weird to me...because it's not like he sucked from day 1 here, or that he looks like he's trying hard but isn't able to make the plays (that's Huberdeau), it's just that he doesn't seem to be trying at all.
Which is weird because he was good for the first 40-50 games last year, seemed to be trying hard. And even through pre-season people were saying he looked the best and most engaged of the veteran forwards.
But now the season started and he's just floating around...

cant be giving out any more 1st rounders to get rid of guys. why would any team take him, unless you retain 50% maybe? Yikes that would hurt for a long time

It's going to hurt for a long time watching Kadri, Huberdeau and possibly Lindholm keep this team from being bad, but also not being able to make the team great. Pick your poison.

That's just it. He doesn't look engaged and is doing stupid things. Total Neal vibes from him.
