If he does what Raphael Devers did and drops 20-30lbs he might turn it around, but that doesn't seem likely.

It will also be interesting to see if Bichette sticks at SS or even at 3B over the years, as guys like Groshans, Martinez, Hiraldo and even Kevin Smith potentially make their way to the MLB roster.

A post-deadline assessment of Blue Jays’ organizational depth for 2020

Quote:
Starting Rotation

Leading candidates: RHP Matt Shoemaker, LHP Ryan Borucki, RHP Trent Thornton
On the big-league radar: RHP Jacob Waguespack, LHP Thomas Pannone, RHP Sean Reid-Foley, RHP Yennsy Diaz, LHP Anthony Kay, RHP Julian Merryweather, RHP T.J. Zeuch
Prospects on the rise: RHP Nate Pearson, RHP Patrick Murphy

The Blue Jays’ projected 2020 rotation offers little certainty, especially now that Borucki’s sidelined with more elbow trouble. You can pencil Shoemaker in for one rotation spot, and Thornton looks like a good bet for another. Beyond that, this rotation’s pretty wide open.

The Jays have some powerful bats in the line up. It'll be interesting to see if they can continue to put up the offense for the rest of the season.

If they can pull some pitching out of their arses, next year they could be a wild card challenger.

Wow. Duffy, Sogard and Aguilar all contributing in their own way to creating a lot of Blue Jays offense.

I was just about to say Thornton was doing well, then he gave up three 2 run bombs in one inning.

Jesus christ Thornton. Three 2 run homers in one inning.

These young pitchers give you hope one minute and then the next they leave you shaking your head.

If CM won't pull him after 2 of those...why not go for 4?

I’d love it someone shut up the guy yelling at the Jays.

Man. I hate the Ray's. Hate everything about that team. Their stupid players, their stupid uniform, their stupid stadium, their stupid fans. The only reason they ever have a competitive record is because they beat the Jay's 18/20 times a year. Garbage baseball at best. And yet, for the life of them, the Jays can never beat them.
