Brossoit and shootouts just don't work well together. Great game by him though, always fun to see the prospects on TV.

Wotherspoon broke the +60 mark on the season tonight in 59 games.
Can't wait to see him play 6-7 minutes a night on the Heat's 3rd pairing next year.

What's up with Ferland? I have noticed he has not played in the past handful of games for the Blades.

The last I heard is he left a game with an upper body injury. I think it was when they played the Hitmen.

Would love to have Ramage signed, and have him and Wotherspoon in Abbottsford next season. Our defensive prospects are limited, so we need to focus our efforts and develop what we have. Hopefully Ramage is deemed worthy enough to be signed here, I think he can be a decent player in the future.

Nothing to worry about, it was a harmless looking play and I was surprised he left the ice, my friend and I figured it had to be precautionary, this article backs up that assumption.

Winger Michael Ferland did not travel with the team to Edmonton and is still considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Ferland has nine goals and 31 points in 30 WHL games this season. The Blades are taking a cautious approach with the injury because the post-season is set to start next Thursday.
“If we were going into the playoffs tomorrow, he’d be in the lineup,” said Molleken.

I would take a worse version of Matt Greene too.
He's a very under-rated dman.

Hope I'm not jinxing anything, but DeBlouw has gone from a -18 last season in the USHL, up to a 0 now in NCAA. Pretty impressive.
I really like this pick.

DeBlouw was definitely a sleeper. Weisbrod seemed genuinely excited by a 7th round selection. At the time I thought he was just blowing smoke, but it looks like the kid has SOME potential at least.

Ugh - they had a silent auction last night at the Spitfires game. Two items, a game worn jersey from Greg Nemisz, and a game worn, autographed Team USA jersey from Pat Sieloff. I wanted both of them!! I couldn't justify spending the money on another jersey.

And I see he hasn't been playing the last the several games! Is Boughner benching him!?

He's been injured for a while now. I'm sure the decline has gone as the team has gone, they have sucked! After the trade deadline, they won quite a few games in a row, looked like they would be able to make a playoff run, but then it all fell apart and they have been crap ever since. Boughner managed to get the Spitfires through a few really rough years when he first took over, I would think he knows how to coach a struggling team, but this year has been terrible.

Somehow this is all Troy G. Ward's fault. He's mishandling Sieloff terribly.

Why stop there? Iginla's struggles are clearly Ward's fault too.
Same with Justin bieber's recent troubles. If only Ward sent Beiber home to work on his manners.

Johnny Gaudreau had 1G (EN) in BC's 4-2 win over Vermont. Jon Gillies stopped 35/37 shots to get the win for Providence over UNH.
