Why is anyone shocked. Cynical politician always has been.

People don't realize he has always been welcomed here. Can anyone share a time he was accosted in Calgary...ever? Hornet's nest? Is Smith going to jump him in the parking lot?

The guy comes and is surrounded by Liberal supporters, then goes to a rich supporter's house for a backyard BBQ and yucks.

This isn't cowardice, its apathy. We are no longer useful for the media cycle out East, to show his "bravery" coming to hillbilly land, and kicking it at the coolest party in the West.

Me too, I don't get it. The federal government has very little impact in my day-to-day life, even way before Trudeau came into power. Changes at the federal level have affected me the least since I've entered this Earth. It's provincial and municipal politics that have WAY more impact on day-to-day life. I'm not a fan of the federal Liberals (right now) or Trudeau in the slightest, but the obsession, and the extreme hate, with them is just bizarre and tiring at this point.
