Now if the Lions could just win two games.
I admit I don't know who's expected to go at the top of this years draft, or if there is any one standout must have guy. But if the Lions are the team drafting in front of you....pretty good chance the Chiefs should still have a shot at the best player in the draft and won't have to pay him like the number one overall selection.

Although with Millen gone maybe things will be different, maybe they'll get their next Barry Saunders.

All kinds of guys to think about when it comes to the draft, but it really depends on team needs.

QB's abound this year...Chase Daniels, Sam Bradford, Graham Harrell, Colt McCoy, Mark Sanchez.

Impact offensive guys like Beanie Wells, Knowshon Moreno, Michael Crabtree, Percy Harvin, Javon Ringer.

TONS of defensive studs as well...gonna be a good draft class me thinks.

They just had a segment on ESPN where they were looking at if the playoffs ended today what the matchups would be like:

AFC:

Byes:

1. Tennesee Titans (10-0), 2. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3)

Wild Card Weekend:
6. Baltimore Ravens (6-4) @ 3. NY Jets (7-3)
5. Indianapolis Colts (6-4) @ 4. Denver Broncos (6-4)

NFC:

Byes:

1. NY Giants (9-1), 2. Carolina Panthers (8-2)

Wild Card Weekend:
6. Washington Redskins (6-4) @ 3. Arizona Cardinals (7-3)
5. Tampa Bay Bucs (7-3) @ 4. Green Bay Packers (5-5)

Obviously teams still have 5-6 games left to play and so much can happen in that time but I thought it was interesting when they showed the matchups as of today.

Cassel having another big day. Almost 350 passing yards through 3 q's. The Fins defence just can't stop the Pats today.

Yeah for sure. The Fins just need to stop the Pats on this drive and then hopefully at least get a FG to tie the game.

Didn't happen, TD for Moss. 38-28 Patriots. 415 yards for Cassell now. The Dolphins D has been brutal today. Good news for me is that the loser of this game will drop to 6-5.

Pennington just threw an INT deep in his own territory. I was pulling for the Dolphins today but like I said good news for me is that the loser drops to 6-5.

And the 72 Dolphins are breaking out champagne all over the US today as the Jets go into Nashville and annihilate the Titans by 21.

Man waht a horrible group of early games today....nothing kept my interest long.

Yeah there hasn't been one game this week where the winning team won by single digits. Every game has been a 10+ point win.

Season is still not lost for Miami.

Other than the Jets game they have 4 winnable games. 10-6 is not out of the picture for the Fins, but I am thinking mor along the lines of 9-7

Well, I spent the entire first half trying to find a reliable way to watch the Broncos game. Glad I missed it.

I guess our local CBS affiliate thinks rodeo is a better option than an NFL game involving the second most popular team in their market. Morons.

Weird morning. Kansas City significantly outplayed Buffalo in the first half but turned the ball over way too much. The Bills took advantage and dominated the second half. Weird game.

Philadelphia...wow.

Peyton Hillis is a football player. What a draft class for Denver.

Nice to know there doesn't have to be irrefutable evidence to overturn an on the field ruling anymore.

Scheffler's sideline catch.

You couldn't tell whether the hand hit before the toe.

That was definitely close. Obviously I thought it was clearer than you do.

Yeah, I didn't think it was clear at all. Randy Cross is sitting there using the telestrator to show exactly how 'clear' it was and what I saw was both touching the ground. That's what he showed me while he's saying his foot is CLEARLY off the ground. BS. I hate that guy too. Terrible color guy.

Not like it matters anyway.
