The rest of this series really depends on the league. Same thing happened last year then they started whining and complaining in the media about getting more calls.. They aren't built for actual 5v5 playoff hockey.

I feel that the Korean Ladies Harmonica Ensemble will become to the LA Kings what Kate Smith was to the Philadelphia Flyers.

This. Kings are outplaying the oilers by a wide margin but all it takes is the oilers getting 4 powerplays in period 1 of game 3 from whining to the league and from diving. Really going the league does not fall for it this time.

Pretty much bank on this happening. The league knows if they don’t get a bit of a run, Mavi is walking.

?? The league would love to have Mavi in a big US market.

Stauffer's "speak to the series supervisor" type comments are such loserish garbage and they resort to this every time things aren't going their way.
Your depth sucks, you haven't capitalized on your own PP opportunities while the Kings have, and you're getting bulldozed at even strength. The result thus far has little to do with how the series has been called.
They just want and expect a hand from the league to get them into a series that's heading directly for sweepsville without it.
But even with sympathetic treatment it's not like they're playing well enough to earn calls, meanwhile they're being extremely undisciplined themselves.
Accepting that they've regressed and are one of the lesser playoff teams is going to be a hard pill for them to swallow after all the favorites talk.

Lol. This does look like something out of those Timbits intermission shows. Oilers defenders just standing there not moving their legs while Byfield just drives at the net.
Bouchard stands there in a french fries skating position with his stick on the ice and does nothing while Byfield scores. He then takes a random swipe in the general direction of the puck, after it's in the net...100% something a Timbits player would do.

Is this an actual quote lol? Didn't have Stauffer outing himself as a Karen on my bingo card this series but I'm not surprised.

EVERY SINGLE OILER is basically standing around without a concern to get into the play.

Rogers has a lot of pull with the league...but the ideal market would be TO for them. Edmonton would likely be 3rd though after Montreal

Watch the visualizer for the Byfield goal.
McD is covering byfield, and the puck is in the Kings offensive zone. All of a sudden, McD randomly skates into the neutral zone, whereas Byfield skates towards the puck, takes it and immediately goes in to score.

Nothing random about it. We all know he was picking the cherry. No Sportsnet commentator would ever call him out on it, either.

Well he saw a 2 on 2 battle and thought he'd get a head start for when his team got the puck. Unfortunately for him, Nurse and Draistail had no intention on getting the puck either.

Love Kuzmenko. Wish we could have made it work with him here, but still glad to see he's doing yeoman's work in taking down the oil. Look at this beauty:

Must be fun to play with someone who expects you to do all the grinding, hard work so that he can take all the glory. There is a reason the young guys like Holloway and Foegle wanted out, and they had to replace them with vets that needed a pay check more than a good opportunity.

I thought the Oilers were getting away with a lot...that Drai off the faceoff, the misconduct late to avoid the 5 on 3

Any unbiased observer looks at that game and can only conclude that there were a lot of non-calls on the Oilers, much more than on the Kings. What are they even upset about?
