Kadri is not even close to Calgary’s biggest problem, although his cockups end up very visual.
Markstrom on the other hand is probably the reason why Turkey isn’t allowing Sweden in to NATO. För helvete Markström.

Even worse, and not a lot of people know this, but Markstrom has it out for Kadri.
Refuses to stop the puck when he is on the ice. That’s why fellow Swedes Backlund are +20 and Lindholm +5, while Kadri is -18
Because Markstrom is the problem

Kadri wouldn't be the first player to come off a cup run and have a poor season...it takes a lot out of a guy
hopefully next year will be much better

How you could still believe he isn't is mind bottling to me. Goaltending has been terrible this year. Defense has been weaker but Markstrom has let in 8 goals off of the first shot of the game this season and he is usually good for one weak goal a game as well.

Most of the Avalanche players look fine and some are having career years.
The Lightning players played in 3 cup runs and even Coleman looks fine.
Not doubting some fatigue but his compete level has been poor all season.

Too many grade A chances against
How do you explain the difference between Backlund and Kadri +/-?
Pretty big difference

Marlstrom has been a bigger problem in the season. Last night he was 4th or 5th in the doghouse and Kadri was top of that leaderboard by a mile.

Especially when you consider that both Kadri screw ups that resulted in goals would not have happened if not for said screw up by Kadri. On both occasions we are looking at a neutral play that even a raw rookie would have made properly had they put even a minute amount of energy into the play.
That's a 3-2 Flames win if that's taken out of the equation and at that point, is anyone questioning Markstrom even being in the doghouse last night?

Ya. Kadri has been barf.
But I'm thinking this team would be further ahead in the standings if we had last year's Markstrom vs last year's Kadri.

Good goaltending will mask problems in the system, bad goaltending exposes them. It's a team game and as bad as amrkstroms season has been, the team itself is just too old.

I was just reminded that Kadri was our representative at the All-Star game this year.
What a ****ing season it has been...

Markstrom and Kadri both suck? League average goaltending would be a lot more impactful then Kadri being better. I’d be softer on the goalies if they didn’t let in a stinker or two every game basically. 8 goals on the first shot is crazy. Markstrom letting in a shot from McDavid at the sideboards has been his performance level basically all season

DM has a point, Kadri is -18. That is lot of goals for the other team attributed to Kadri. We are not even talking various defensemen who are on at the same time. Someone is clearly missing their assignments that are leading to breakdowns for Markstrom.

Imagine being obsessed and pursued the guy for year. You finally paid the heavy price to get him and he plays like crap. On top of that he doesn’t give a ####. Treliving must be sick now.

Not really a season where we had any standouts for the all-star game, or really even anyone who looked worth sending at that time of the season.

They’ve been one of the most injured teams in the league. All their big names have missed time with the exception of Rantanen.

Yeah, I do wonder if it's partially that he's feeling a little more mentally and physically fatigued than the rest of the group right now due to the cup run/win. I look at Toffoli as an example, he's been a much more impressive player this year than he was after acquiring him coming off a longer cup run with the Habs.
