The Canucks have pieces the Oilers simply don't have, most notably Hughes and Demko.

Maybe scary to the Oilers, but not to the rest of the league. I believe they’re over achievers and will land somewhere in wildcard 1 or maybe third in the Pacific Division

They will likely get 3rd based on how weak the Pacific is after Vegas and LA.

Lol, you come across as very insecure. A constant need to make snarky posts.
I happened to be flying from N.B. visiting family, to a little west coast island this past Thursday , my attention was elsewhere.
Do you actually enjoy hockey ?

Based on your post count, you seem like a Canucks troll. I think people here don't mind fans of opposing teams, as long as they can give and take banter proportionally.

Man, the excitement in this city was crazy after that start. I remember it clearly as a teenager.

It bugs me how much we're hearing about Quinn Hughes, yet we hear practically nothing about Calgary's Cale Makar.
Quinn Hughes:
30 points in 19 games.
Cale Makar:
27 points in 17 games
Makar actually has a higher points per game. He also has more takeaways, fewer giveaways, and way fewer defensive zone giveaways. Makar has 4 more points than Rantanen, the next highest on the team. Seems more important to the Avalanche.

How does post count tell you if someone is a troll?
Your post count tells me you're a bad man who has likely kicked a puppy, taken candy from a child, stolen the poppy change box and that you like pineapple on pizza.

Just put him on ignore. Interacting with him is like chewing on tinfoil.

Up until the Avs started blowing teams out last week and the Canucks hit a three game rough patch, nothing was even close between the two of them. Makar was behind Hronek. Now that one trended down and the other trended up, you'll probably see people talk about Makar a lot again. Though what an awful season the Flames are having that you guys are coming into the V=NG thread and hanging your hat on a guy who hates the city he is from.

Hughes is garbage defensively. He needs a Tanev stapled to him. Probably hence why Canucks fans are making Tanev proposals.
He'd make a great forward though.
Hyping him for the Norris is similar to Burns or Karlsson except even they were better in their own zone
Makar is the envy of the league for d-men and its really not close.

I would be SHOCKED not to see Makar in a Flames jersey at some point in his career. But Denver really couldn't be a better spot for him. It's pretty much like Calgary and there's direct flights to/from all year round and they're like 2.5 hours.

We keep making proposals for Tanev because we like Tanev and he's a good player. There is no world in which the Canucks move Hronek and Hughes apart.

The esteemed position of someone who has watched exactly one Canucks game in the previous 180 days.

Until Hughes plays at this level for 82 games and replicates it into the following season, I don't think anyone will ever argue that. Ofcourse, anyone with eyes won't argue that Hughes has been the best player in the NHL over the first 20 games.

Yeah odd all the Canuck fans on here were busy when the Flames were pounding them.
You guys only post when the Canucks are doing well but I'm insecure lol
Oilers fans have disappeared for some reason too
I post on CP if the Flames are in first place or last place

Nah, it's true. He's garb defensively and has been since entering the league. The other night when the Flames spanked them was comical (for Hughes, but also on the whole).
Takes some thicc blue goggles to pretend otherwise.
