Wow, it really might be England’s year.

Not a pen, and then a terrible penalty by Kane

I also don't want those arrogant ####ing England fans saying #### about Italians or anyone else and diving. Pathetic.

So what’s the point of VAR if they can’t get that right…what a joke.

They were probably afraid of the deplorable English fans rioting if they took away the pen.

That's the thing...once the ref called it a penalty on the pitch it's tough to overturn for VAR.

Because there was very slight contact even if Sterling was falling/diving before the contact.

If the ref doesn't make the signal on the pitch to start I don't think VAR gives that to them.

In all of sports, I’ve yet to see that video replay has increased the percentage of calls gotten correct.

the one on Kane in regulation that wasn't given was much more of a pen. This one is just wrong.

That was still a dive, but it was also a foul. This one wasn’t even a foul.

I do have to say I'm impressed we're all going to come out of this hating England even more.

I do think that England have been the better team, but that's still garbage.

they certainly have been, Denmark has done nothing after the first half. Still, that pen leaves a very bitter taste.

England were the better team but never good when it feels like a dive is what gives a team the win.

Also don't think Denmark taking all their offensive threats off in the 65th minute was a great decision either.

Agreed. Was a baffling decision at the time and looks even worse with hindsight.
