Grogu was kind of a jerk and veangeful too. That time he used the force to steal that kid's cookies wasn't very Jedi like. He also had a penchant for eating small defenseless eggs and creatures.....damn I miss the Mandalorian. That was great content.

The speculation out there right now is that "Mando" will be appearing in The Book of Boba Fett - when watching the trailer, many think they hear Pedro Pascal's voice around the 27 second mark (identified as 'Alien 1' in subtitles).

Boba Fett is only 6 episodes long. I actually like that length, as we likely won't see many filler episodes.

Mando season 3 also shouldn't be that much further past Boba Fett, which should release late 2021 or early 2022.

Don't forget the joyfull look on his face as he tortured those stormtroopers, you know that were just doing his job and went out of their way to find tiny handcuffs for him so he'd be comfortable.

I have this image that it will be like the Fonz showing on on the episode of Laverne and Shirly.

Mando walks into a meeting and gives a double thumbs up and a "Ehhhhhh". Live studio audience cheers. He takes a beer out of Mando's fridge and exits stage right

Watched Rise of Skywalker again tonight, and it was still pretty bad and an unsatisfying ending to the Skywalker story line.

But a few things.

I felt bad for the cast, For all of its bad things for the most part you could see that the cast really acted well in this one. I especially felt bad for Daisy after reading about how much abuse she took over her portrayal of Ray.

I miss Carrie Fisher, she just was amazing.

I did like the last few minutes when they wrapped up the story.

Did you like how Rey had the power of 1,000 Jedi Masters with literally no training?

Well she is a Palpatine. (Which by the way, I hated the whole sacrifice thing so he can inhabit her. Because literally she did sacrifice or kill him, so shouldn't he have jumped into her body at the end. And introduced herself as Rey Papatine".

I still think that the last Jedi was panic written and originally there was no concept of bringing in Palpatine or the final order fleet, or making Hux a disposible yeoman. Or having the easiest to kill Star Destroyers ever).

I also wish I could get an acting role like Kerri Russell, what a bizarre bit of character that was.

On watching the ROS, all I could do was feel kind of sorry for the cast in it. And is Valkorian . . . wait Vitiate . . . wait Palpatines incorporeal energy ball still out there, waiting for another sequel?

And is it creepy that Palpatine wanted to enter his grand daughters body or was that just an unfortunate bit of phrasing.

I compare Rise of Skywalker to a giant movie trailer that shows you all the plot points but doesn't actually give you any satisfying storyline, lore, or even really logically justify it's own roll out or timing.

It is truly a group design project style hodgepodge. Like a platypus.

The new trilogy was screwed the second that it was decided it wasn't going to be the same director for all 3 . TLJ was such divergence from TFA they couldn't reel it back in in ROS.

Treverow or whatever his name is just butchered the whole thing.

Suppose Kathleen Kennedy should be bled for it all. Too bad the didn't let Fige run the whole thing.

Yes, Kennedy should take the hiding.

Its not hard...."Have a plan."

You can switch up Directors, you shouldnt because most of the time they like to do their own thing, granted, a trilogy like this is a huge ask for one guy but it can be done.

But have a plan.

"This is the story, here is how it starts, here are the key plot points we have to hit, you can do other things so long as you hit these key points."

Ultimately though....the characters were boring, nobody cared about them, they were never developed they had too many of them and they didnt have anything for them to do.

I've said it before...you look at the beginning of The Force Awakens all the way to the end of Rise of Skywalker....all of these things have happened, all these people killed, all this stuff destroyed and.....

Basically nothing happened. They are right back to where they started from.

The thing I liked the least about it was that it took a huge universe like the star wars universe and made it seem impossibly small. Part of that was the total lack of character development while wedging them all in. It seemed like the characters existed solely for this story rather than being actual people in a functional universe. E.G. captain Phasma. Why?

That was annoying as Hell.

Just pull the hyperdrive levers while you're in atmosphere and BOOM 2 seconds later you're flying over the next planet!!

No calculations required...oh...you dont want to be here either? No problem just pull the magic hyperdrive lever like its the arm of a VLT! You'll be someplace else 2 seconds later...not in system, on the actual planet!

Oh. And ships take gas now. Sometimes. Because why not?

LOL it says a lot, Star Destroyers were powered by these monstrous hyper matter reactors. The Rebellion or resistance ships run on actual fuel. so weird.

I remember playing a game called Rebellion where you tried to take over the universe and it literally took 50 days in hyperspace to cross the galaxy which made sense.

I think these criticisms are part of the reason I like Mandalorian so much too, they did it the exact opposite. They showed us characters we knew already having lived vast, and detailed lives with nothing to do with the current story since last we saw them. We saw new characters with no ties to the force or jedis but still deep rich backstories that are thought and fleshed out (at least more than anything in the last trilogy.) AND we even visited familiar locales instead of new worlds, and they were more interesting than the strange settings conjured up for the trilogy. And It often showed how it was kind of complex to travel between worlds.

Poor Colin Trevorrow, who was actually neither of the directors for the trilogy and yet gets pinned for it lol (was dismissed for Abrams for damage control after TLJ).

But yeah, Rian Johnson, although a skilled director who's brought us some great films, took a rather large stinker on Abram's premise which COULD have developed into an engaging and meaningful arc.

The alternate scripts floating out there and even Trevorrow's alternate take on RoS sounded interesting and probably better.

I love shiv/Palpatine as much as any one as a villain but shoehorning him the way they did fell totally flat and I didn't buy it. Felt like a star wars version of "what if" rather than something that should be in episode IX of the Skywalker saga.

So many missteps. Mandalorian has begun to make things right. But hopefully they learn from it and never go down that no plan/different directors route again.

Vomit/Diarrhea... Whatever it is is viral and needs to be purged from the system.
