Why do Broncos keep having a player on return that can't even catch the damn ball?

Yeah it's not the menace it was thought to be.

Season isn't that old yet, but to date the AFC East would seem to have played the best. You can already see that it's going to be a Patriots and Steelers AFC Title game in Foxboro.

At least the NFC might be interesting. The Rogers injury really open's up the whole Conference.

Per TSN: Tom Brady is now the only quarterback on the Patriots' roster or practice squad and the team will have to add a back-up via free agency or a trade.

Isn't this a rather large risk with a 40 year old QB even if he's a superstar?

Denver just figured out the Chiefs weakness, run the ball almost every play.

Elliot's 6 game ban upheld;

IMO the Cowboys would have been better off just having him serve the suspension in the first six games. This is going to put a damper on their Wild Card efforts as without him that offense is pretty mediocre.

That's a pretty strange decision to go for it there for the Broncos. Usually I'm a fan of aggressive decision making, but if anything the aggressive play is to try and pin them inside the 5 and let the defense force a turnover.

Denver may be the most undisciplined team in the league. It feels like penalties kill every drive or positive play.

Unless the Broncos go bold and try and trade for a QB tomorrow, I imagine it's Brock time next week.

Honestly, Joseph has been terrible. If were gonna burn a year anyway, wouldn't mind seeing a change at HC.

They're 3-4 after finishing 8-8 last year and losing 4 of their last 6 games to finish the year.

The coach didn't tell his offensive line to get hurt and stop protecting the QB. They still have a nasty defence but it's hard to win when a team has no money being spent at the most premium position. Not so sure I'd be putting this on the coach.

There's no way Joseph gets fired in-season during his first year unless he totally losses the locker room or does something that lands him in jail. Elway will struggle to get decent candidates to interview if he's not even giving guys one year. But really their current predicament is all on Elway, QB and OL situations are a mess because of him.

As of today it doesn't look like the Broncos have the cap space to sign a guy like Cousins in the offseason but I imagine if they cut some players they may be able to make a run for his services. Unfortunately their roster is aging at key positions and without big upgrades (top linemen are getting paid $$$ these days) on the offensive line it could amount to a waste.

I can't see Joseph getting fired unless they finish with less than 6 wins. That would be egg on Elway's face having to fire a guy he deemed worthy less than a year ago.

Jay Ajayi to the Eagles for a 4th, Solid move and at seemingly good value. I feel for whoever has to takeover for Gase and that offense next year though

Eagles acquired Jay Ajayi from the Dolphins in exchange for a fourth-round pick.
While this looks shocking on the surface, coach Adam Gase took a shot at Ajayi following the team's loss to the Ravens last Thursday night and had clearly soured on the back. Now in Philly, Ajayi should take over as the lead back ahead of LeGarrette Blount and will get to run behind a solid offensive line for the first time in his career. Even if he has to share work, this is a great move for Ajayi's fantasy value.
Good for Ajayi's fantasy value

Man, the Eagles are really starting to look like the class of the NFC this year.

Good move for them and good for you Eagle honks...should be a nice run if Wentz stays healthy.

Wow that’s a good move for the Eagles. Maybe he’s not as good as his 2016 season would lead you to believe but the Dolphins offense is such a dumpster fire that several players appear to be playing below their capabilities.

Interesting interview on 960 this morning with Dave Dickenson. They were discussing on all the NFL trades over the past day and who the Patriots should bring in to back up Brady. Boomer brought up Kaepernick and DD said he wouldn't as he doesn't think he's very good. They asked him if he thought Kaepernick was better than some other backups available and he said maybe a little but not worth the distraction.
