Blu Ray quality leaks popped up online last night for those interested.
Honestly, it was my first time seeing it since theaters and I turned it off half an hour in. Maybe I wasn't in the right mind frame but it just didn't pull me in enough. I hope that's what it was and it wasn't just a meh movie that was masked by hype and Imax cause I loved it the first time.
I'll probably try again another time.

We've all had that moment, when you were on the Oscar track. I mean my broken toy soldier on the jury number 2 was the best broken toy soldier on the jury number 2 that was ever seen at Nichol Jr High in the 80's. The school newspapers raved about my facial expressions which showed the depth of disgust that my character felt towards the neglectful children of fart town.
I was convinced that I needed an agent to filter the crap scrips that would come my way from the ones truly worthy of my attention and artistic ambitions.
Sadly I suppose I was too particular, and my next triumphant moment came 30 years as back ground dancer number 3 with non discript girl where our lines were throwing the words Banana banana back and forth like we were having a conversation with each other. With fake laughter"
It was a triumph. I intend to open up a acting studio to teach the art of acting to actors.

Yeesh, takes 3 minutes to track that lightsabers dark history. You kind of overlook the fact that Anakin used that thing to wipe out the Jedi Temple, that it was used more in anger than defense in its history.
Rey felt all of that when she grabbed it. No wonder she wants nothing to do with it. I also like that the video captured the anger Rey felt when she struck down Kilo.
It'll be interesting to see how Luke deals with seeing that thing in the sequel. Does he tell her to toss it over the cliff and be rid of it forever? Does it lead to one of them falling to the darkside? Seems kind of like an Anti-Excalibur to me right now.
Also noticed a Tombstone on top of that cliff where Luke was standing. Was that what he was standing in front of when Rey arrived? Who is he Mourning?

It was also a lightsaber that did a lot of good.
It was never the tool that was evil, it was the user.
The tombstone was debated endlessly on theforce.net until it was decided that it was pretty much just a rock.

That tombstone was for Luke's pet anooba, the runt of a litter given to him by the family of his buddy Biggs back on Tatooine after the war. His only friend for years after he crash landed on that crappy little island, and his communicator shorted out.
I played the dead anooba under the tombstone, in my acting debut. Nailed it, I think.

I imagine that is an important plot detail that will be revealed soon enough. Patience, young padawan.
