Lste to the party, but:
- St. Louis and Richards can eat it. Hopefully they never see the playoffs again. St. Louis has likely already asked for a trade because Sather didnt give him a cigar despite Sather's insistence that he would have given Marty a stogie had they won.
- Sutter wins the cup. Again. If i were him I'd use my day with the cup going to the houses of all the reporters who slammed him for years, then offer them a drink out of the cup, but all he has to offer is horse urine or crab juice.
- Reggie wins the cup! My favourite player, couldnt be happier and even better that it was handed to him first. It really shows his character and what his teammates think of him. Class guy.
- CBC: What to say? When they were on they were great, but way too many screwups for the big show. This is the Grand Finale, this was the Big Arena, this was the Ultimate Show, its where mistakes cant happen. Just ask all 40+ players.
- NYR: They got their asses kicked. Sure, lots of OT and most games were close, but the Rags were never in it. The outcome was absolutely never, ever in doubt. Beyond Lundquvist, McDonagh and Girardi the Rags were useless.
- Rick Nash: I'm sorry to say, but almost completely useless. $7.8M for that?
LA never panicked. And thats easier said than done.
