Baertschi making it to tomorrows game would be a beauty cherry on top. Nothing would feel better than slapping Edmonton with a big helping of Baertschi-out-performing-your-tank-and-draft-first-Young-Guns

he's not living up to the hype. I mean he did have almost 2 points per game for portland and he's not even at a point per game for us. What a let down....

The big winner. The Portland Winterhawks. Let's take our best player, show him what NHL level playoff race is like, have him learn to play against full sized men at a high speed and now let him back with the boys. I shudder to think how much damage he could do with this last week of experience now.

I hope he gets another game. If Stempniak is the player to replace him, he better bring his "A" game. I could see the Dome faithful chanting for Sven if Stempniak lays an egg. Not that they will get there wish.
