"Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Germany striker Lukas Podolski from Cologne, BBC Sport understands. Reports suggest the Gunners will pay £10.9m for the 26-year-old on a four-year contract worth £100,000 a week."
I dunno, I might be. Arsenal are the form team and Chelsea may have re-invorgrated themselves with AVB gone. The Harry to England thing is likely a much bigger issue at Spurs then either Redknapp or the club are willing to admit. At least that is the word on the street over here.
I apologize for not updating you all on my trip to Stoke. Unfortunately Norwich lost 1-0, and if they had been able to hang on for the draw, it would have been VERY flattering. Just a boring, uneventful match. Obviously I expected that because Stoke isn't exactly renowned for their exciting play. To sum it up: 4 hours on a bus, one of the Canaries' worst showings of the season, and 4 more hours on a bus. That being said, I would do it all again and it was still a fun experience.
So today I've got tickets for the Wigan match at Carrow Road. Despite Wigan being at the bottom of the table, the locals here are saying this one is a "must win" for Norwich. I'm not one for hyperbole, but I do get that sinking feeling that if they screwed up today against Wigan, they might regret those lost points. They have some tough matches in the home stretch (Liverpool, Man City, Newcastle, etc.) so they really need to win against Wigan, Wolves, and even Villa to ensure their safety. I think they'll be fine, but I'd hate to see a scare towards the end.
Each year that Ferguson wins the title with an average at best team just makes him even more arrogant and emboldens a pretentious fan base with a massive sense of entitlement towards winning.
I for one recoil in terror at the thought of another Salford Utd premiership title. The pubs and bars from Cornwall to Kent will be rife with red clad, prawn sandwich eating Man U "supporters" gloating and exhorting the virtues of their most recent championship team, which by the majority of commentators, really isn't that good.

Come on you Citizens!
I don't get the entitlement bit but I will admit that "IF" they somehow win the title it would imo be the weakest team yet to win the premiership.
Personally, I'd settle for a chip butty on Bognor beach watching the seagulls following the trawlers.
