Just watched The World is Not Enough last night, and it wasn't quite as bad as I remember. It's one of those 'better than the sum of it's parts' movies, and it's certainly better than it's reputation. It's still not very good, don't get me wrong--but it's at least watchable, held together by pretty strong action sequences.
I agree Marceau was great--easily one of the highlights of the movie. Wickedly good performance, especially in contrast to a bland Robert Carlisle who was just plain dull for a Bond villain (and barely in it!)
