Yeah. I caved already I thought about it some more and decided that 2 bucks is dirt cheap for such an awesome game. I will make the controls work somehow.

Is there a way on the maps app to keep dropped pins from disappearing when you drop another one? Or another mapping program that I could download that would do something similar? Basically I want a bunch of locations in one city to show up on the map at the same time.

Just get a marker, and put a dot on the map manually. Guaranteed to never disappear

As far as I know there is no way to keep pins on the map. You could try openmaps free or Mapquest 4 mobile.

Hopefully not too far off topic...

Does anyone know of an iPad app that will allow you to use a projector with any of the apps? I know keynote will do it but I understand you can't project any other programs. Thanks.

DisplayOut is $1.99 on Cydia. Obviously you will need to jailbreak the iPad to get it.

BEST APP EVER!

NHL Ice Time Premium a must have for any hockey fan!

-Condensed 12-minute versions of every NHL game
-Video highlights after each period played
-Video highlight reels at the conclusion of each game
-Live game radio of every game
-A virtual ice tracker to see where action took place and then view highlights
-Extensive player profiles with video highlights & detailed in-game stats
-A video archive with thousands of current-season highlights.

Bar none the best NHL app I have. I just watched several condensed flames games from last year and a few of the playoff games.

This damn app is responsible for at least 50% of my battery each day LOL

It would seem non jailbreakers are SOL as the app is only available to EU users currently.

I must say this app alone is worth the JB.

Anyone who wants this app and is Jail-broken I can provide it

I don't know if the NHL intentionally chose not to release it in Canada, but sometimes apps just take time to filter out to all the stores.

Edit: Never mind.

Well it's the same app as the iPad playoff one was. I suspect the NHL will release it in NA prior to the season starting.

It's been out since at least March. I don't see any reason why it's not in the Canadian store by now if they intended to release it here.

There are many apps out there (like omnigraffle), and apparently it's dead easy for developers to add the feature in. If I recall correctly it's done in about 20 lines of code. What is it you want to do?

I bet it rolls out for the season. It was in the US store for playoffs but it was hideous. Functional but just disfigured design-wise. My thought is they don't want to release it at a time when nobody is talking about hockey.

I hope you're right. It would be cool to have that running on an iPad while watching a game.

I think he was asking, who would want AutoCAD on an iPhone or an iPad.

I agree it would be pretty useless on an iPhone. Not sure how useful a dumbed down version would be on an iPad either.
