Sorry, I thought we were talking about Sancho.

I’m just telling myself that for a 4th CB who can provide cover at multiple positions the price is good. Dier must be thinking he can get into the England squad if he plays well. Although Southgate probably picks him anyway.
And now Harry Kane has a friend.

if I'm Bayern, that's my biggest reason for getting Dier, in all honesty. Kane is the biggest name to come to the Bundesliga in I don't know how long, so you better make sure he's happy. If that means you have to throw Eric Dier a lifeline, then that's a small price to pay. I don't think he'll play much, but then again, injuries have hit them hard this season, so you never know when you might need him.
I also think United did really well with the Sancho loan. They basically had no leverage, so getting Dortmund to agree to pay a loan fee, cover part of the wages and not get a buy clause? That's a pretty good deal, all things considered. Then again, Dortmund are in pure desperation mode themselves.

The friend angle is big imo
Also think he will play him as a DM as a sub when holding a lead, maybe start a few games
He's a good distributor and smart, he's just so slow, if he has 2 centerbscks behind him he's not a liability at all

Tottenham have signed Genoa defender Radu Drăgușin for €25 million ($27.3m) plus €5m in add-ons in a move that provides much-needed cover for their depleted backline in the second half of the season.

That seems a good bit of business for Spurs.

A Newcastle win would be great. Give Liverpool some breathing room.

Kyle Walker getting cooked back to back on the same cut inside. What a game it's been.

I know lots of people love Walker, but he compensates for a lot of his mistakes with his speed, but speed and acceleration are declining assets.

I said this already, but City might do what they normally do and catch fire and win 12-14 in a row, but it'll be because they have De Bruyne back and they are crushing teams with 4-5 goals a game. Their defense is way too leaky this season, they rarely keep clean sheets. If Liverpool can not only survive AFCON, but add to their lead, they might be tough to catch.

City are loving this 'short corner' that accomplishes absolutely nothing other than getting Newcastle a goal kick.

Rodri should be gone. How did VAR not spot that?

I dont see how Newcastle thought they were going to get away with this for an entire half. That was stupid.
