It wasn't too long ago Canada was losing 8-1 in Honduras and going goalless for almost a full year losing to the likes of Martinique and Mauritania.

Canada's performance against Belgium showed they belonged, and Davies goal today gave this country something to celebrate on the biggest stage. Everything after this is just extra for me.

Yeah and I also think Morocco is a good team. I’m 1000% cheering for Canada and hoping for a miracle, but it’s not realistic to think we’re going through. A result against Belgium/Croatia would be incredible for Canada. Even a draw against Morocco isn’t just routine. I’m not saying Canada should just be happy to be there, but qualifying is really unbelievable, so we should be celebrating these things and not worried about going further.

The Canadian defenders need to stop the all-or-nothing risk taking as well. Too many risky moves that resulted in breaks for the Croatians, and that keeps building their momentum and confidence.

Canada needs to be smarter and tidier defensively, then try and build something on the attack

Croatia are a much better side than Belgium.

Canada paying for their lack of structured play with lots of fatigue and holes on the back end. Need some fresh legs now and to get the ball up field quicker. Passing it around the back will cost them again.

Entertaining stuff again. Just need to push the attack again.

I don't know if Canada is sitting back; its just that the quality through Croatia's lineup is starting to rise to the top.

just watch the crisp passing...i bet they're up around 70% connecting and Canada is 50%...and when Canada does get the ball, they've messed up and given possession back to Croatia.

it was going to be tough to surprise Croatia after showing well versus Belgium.

Because they had to sub Estaquio, can't sub Hutchinson too.

Big save to keep Canada in the game there. Canada still have a punchers chance to get back to a draw.
