Haven't watched much of the game but really glad to see Kikuchi have a solid outing. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

I wonder if Romano is showing signs of wear? Doesn't seem to be throwing the blowout fastball

Whew..........that was way closer than I'd like.
Challenge is moot.........that was an obvious out.

A little poor sportsmanship by the Yanks with that challenge. It was clear as day he was out by a mile.
Nothing easy but end the series with the win. And inches away from winning game 1 too. Still not great baseball but they're scratching and clawing.

I’ve watched that replay of Vladdy’s snag quite a few times now, and I am pretty amazed at it to be honest. The difficulty of a hop at that length, at that speed and directly at him is about 10/10.
I’m amazed he was able to complete that play, while staying on the bag, without a bobble.

I guess they figured after last night they could get away with it again.

So nice to see Kikuchi have a strong start like that, especially against a tough opponent.
Man he could be so good if he finds better command of his pitches, especially his FB. Hopefully he unlocks his potential here.

Jays are still top 10 in slugging % and OPS.
Dead last with RISP....
That won't last IMO (the RISP part lol)
They've also only been playing mostly playoff contending teams and facing mostly very good pitching so far, which is another good sign because they have still managed a .615 record during this tough stretch coming out of a shortened spring training.
I look forward to the days coming when we start to see the Jays put up crooked numbers again and winning some blow outs here and there. I'm confident they'll get there.
