It's time like these you really miss having the fans for these moments. You have to figure 100% a crowd at Rogers Centre would have remembered Encarnacion's famous hat trick from a few years ago. They would have littered the field with hats and been going bananas.
Would have been so cool to watch. I still remember the players faces in the dugout, wondering what the hell was happening and then lighting up once it was explained.

Seriously though, if Tellez continues to struggle I’d be all for it.
We already have a clogged up DH spot. (It’s nice to play Bo there to get his bat but give him time off SS) I don’t think we want more players fighting for that spot. Soon we will have Teoscar, Springer, Bo and others all needing games there.

Yeah, I’m not saying to just pick him up on a whim, but if Tellez keeps struggling(which he is) that it would probably be worth while at looking to add a veteran power bat who can play 1st and DH. It won’t cost any prospect capital and you don’t need to play him full time, as he’s been platooning the last couple of seasons anyways.
Also just kind of a fun thought because I love that gentle beast.

Who's the guy with Jamie Campbell in studio? He barely has enough camera confidence to speak. Every sentence sounds like he's potentially two seconds away from getting up and running away out of nervousness, lol.
Personally I really like John Axford. Seems like a very normal guy who brings the right amount of analysis where he’s not picking apart the most minor thing in hindsight that so many analysts these days get caught doing to make themselves look brilliant. He’s been around for about three years if I recall. Broadcasting was obviously not what he did for a living so I can live with his demeanour.
EE always seemed like such a cool, relaxed guy and that fan reaction gave me chills. I wonder if the players appreciate the fans more after covid? I sure miss it.

I like him too. He had personality on the mound so hopefully when he gets more comfortable in front of the camera we’ll start to see it. Anyone is better than Siddall imo though. That dude is so vanilla it hurts.
